NEW TREASURE（ニュートレジャー）Stage4・5のProjectや高校英語のCritical Writingで、英文を書き終えたのに失点する原因の一つが英語の課題指示（assignment instructions）と採点表（rubric）の読み違いです。例えば at least two reasons は理由2つ以上、up to five cards はカード5枚まで、discouraged は「非推奨」であり必ずしも「禁止」ではありません。慶英会では架空の課題指示4枚・独自40問・全模範英文・全文和訳を掲載します。

特に重要なのは、語数制限に含む部分と含まない部分を読み違えないことです。たとえば本文120–150語、教師への返信40–60語で『返信は本文の語数に含まない』と明示されていれば、合計160–210語という一つの制限ではありません。

Original fictional assignment: Assignment A — Opinion Paragraph. Topic: Should the school offer a voluntary lunchtime reading club? Write 90–110 English words, including a clear position, two distinct reasons and at least one specific example. Do not claim that reading scores improved unless you have evidence. Submit one PDF file through the class platform by Tuesday, 8:00 p.m. Use a title and your class code, but do not include other students’ personal details. Late work must be discussed with the teacher; sending a file after the deadline does not guarantee acceptance. The teacher’s practice rubric allocates Content 4 points, Reasoning 3 points, Language 2 points and Format 1 point, for 10 total.

指示2｜課題2｜ポスター発表：データの単位と出典
Original fictional assignment: Assignment B — Research Poster Talk. Prepare a two-minute spoken explanation of one original, fictional dataset and display exactly one table or chart. Your visual must include a title, a measurement unit and a note about any unmeasured limitation. Identify the source as a classroom exercise, not a school-wide result. Presenters may use up to five cue cards; reading a full script aloud is discouraged but not forbidden. A rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday at 3:30 p.m.; final posters are due on Friday at noon. The final poster must be submitted as a single image file. The practice rubric awards Data accuracy 4 points, Explanation 3 points, Audience clarity 2 points and Attribution 1 point.

指示3｜課題3｜科学英文要約：目的・結果・限界
Original fictional assignment: Assignment C — Science Summary. Read the teacher’s original short research report and produce a 75–95-word English summary. Your summary must identify the study’s purpose, one method, two numerical findings and one important limitation. You may paraphrase the report; do not copy more than six consecutive words from any sentence except fixed technical terms or numerical labels. Include a short source note at the end, which is not counted toward the 75–95 words for this fictional class exercise. Submit a text document, not a PDF, by Sunday at 6:00 p.m. The practice rubric allocates Evidence 4, Organization 3, Language 2 and Source handling 1 point. The report has not provided permission to invent additional findings.

指示4｜課題4｜草稿の改稿とフィードバック対応
Original fictional assignment: Assignment D — Revised Argument. Submit a revised 120–150-word argument about a proposed school project. Use at least two reasons, one numerical example and a conclusion that is consistent with your evidence. Underline the thesis statement. Separately attach a 40–60-word response to teacher feedback; this response is not part of the argument’s word count. Highlight at least two substantive revisions in the new draft. Do not change original source numbers or invent a citation. Upload the argument and response as two separately named text files by Monday at 9:00 a.m. This practice rubric gives Argument 4 points, Evidence 3, Revision quality 2 and Instructions 1. The school has not specified an extra penalty for submitting exactly 150 words.
