和訳の後に英文を書き換える：準2級too … to・not … enough to・so … thatの40課題は、元の日本語の意味を変えずに3種類の英文を作る練習に利用できます。

英文和訳ができないときの3つの原因と対処法
- 英文の主語・動詞が見つからない：最初に誰が何をするかを探し、関係詞や分詞の修飾部分と区別する。
- 単語の意味は分かるのに内容を取り違える：because・although・unless・instead・onlyなど、理由・逆接・条件・例外の接続関係を読む。
- 英文をすべて同じ時制で訳してしまう：過去の習慣used to、現在までの継続has been、未来の条件if it rainsなどを区別する。
- 問題は先に英文だけを見て日本語へ訳し、答え合わせ後に大切な文法の仕組みを自分の言葉で説明する。
- 翌日は和訳を隠し、構造が分かった文を時間を測って読み直す。実際の英検本試験では長文・選択肢の内容一致が必要になる。
