Hi!
Our school started a rooftop vegetable garden in April. It is on top of the library. Students can visit during lunch, and some classes use it for science lessons. I enjoy taking care of the plants. Do you think students should grow vegetables at school?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a rooftop vegetable garden。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I do. Growing vegetables at school helps students learn where food comes from. I also think it is fun to work with friends outside. What kinds of vegetables will you grow in your rooftop garden? How many students can use the garden?
Best wishes,
質問①:What kinds of vegetables will you grow?(何を育てるか)
質問②:How many students can use the garden?(利用できる人数)
Hi!
I went to a repair café near my house on Sunday. Volunteers there helped me fix my old lamp instead of throwing it away. I was surprised that we could repair it so quickly. Do you think people should repair old things?
Your friend,
Alex
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I do. Repairing things can save money and reduce waste. It can also teach us useful skills. I want to visit your repair café someday. What kinds of things can visitors repair there? Do people need to bring their own tools?
Best wishes,
質問①:What kinds of things can visitors repair?(修理対象)
質問②:Do people need to bring their own tools?(持参する道具)
Hi!
Two students in my class made a homework app. It shows our assignments and helps us plan our evenings. Some teachers are interested in it because students often forget deadlines. Do you think it is useful to plan homework?
Your friend,
Alex
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I think planning homework is helpful because students can avoid forgetting important tasks. I write a short list every evening. Your homework app sounds interesting. Can students share their plans with classmates? Does the app remind users before a deadline?
Best wishes,
質問①:Can students share their plans?(共有機能)
質問②:Does the app remind users?(通知機能)
注意するミス:I think so.
Hi!
I joined a street art tour in our town last weekend. We walked with a guide and saw paintings on walls and in small parks. I learned interesting stories about local artists. Do you enjoy learning about the history of your town?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a street art tour。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I do. I like finding stories about places near my home. Walking around town with friends makes history more interesting. I often visit our local museum on weekends. Your street art tour sounds exciting. How long does the tour take? How many people can join each tour?
Best wishes,
質問①:How long does the tour take?(所要時間)
質問②:How many people can join each tour?(1回の参加人数)
注意するミス:How many arts?
Hi!
My technology club built a robot that sorts trash. It moves small bottles and cans into different boxes. We will show it at the school festival next month. Do you think students should learn programming at school?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a robot that sorts trash。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I think programming is useful because it helps students solve problems step by step. Making something with friends also sounds enjoyable. I’m interested in your robot that sorts trash. What materials did your team use? How does the robot know which bin to choose?
Best wishes,
質問①:What materials did your team use?(材料)
質問②:How does the robot know which bin to choose?(判別方法)
注意するミス:Do you like robots?
Hi!
My school opened a water refill station near the gym. Students can fill their own bottles instead of buying drinks in plastic bottles. It is becoming popular during sports practice. Would students at your school use a station like this?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a water refill station。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I think many students at my school would use it. We carry bottles every day, so it could reduce plastic waste. I want to know more about your water refill station. Is the water free for students? How often is the machine cleaned?
Best wishes,
質問①:Is the water free for students?(料金)
質問②:How often is the machine cleaned?(清掃頻度)
という仮定的な質問に、I use it yesterday.
Hi!
People in my neighborhood organized a sports event for all ages. Children, parents, and older people played simple games together. Everyone said it was a lot of fun. Do you think people of different ages should exercise together?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a sports event for all ages。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I do. Exercising together could help people make new friends. It might also encourage families to stay healthy. Our school holds a sports festival every autumn. I would like to join your sports event for all ages. What activities can beginners try? Is special equipment necessary?
Best wishes,
質問①:What activities can beginners try?(初心者向け種目)
Hi!
Our town held a photo exhibition about wild birds at the community center. Local photographers showed pictures of birds living in forests and near rivers. I learned that some birds are losing their homes. Do you think it is important to protect wild birds?
Your friend,
Alex
下線の対象は a photo exhibition about wild birds。
Hi, Alex!
Thank you for your e-mail.
Yes, I think protecting birds is important because they are part of nature. We should keep parks clean and avoid disturbing their homes. Your photo exhibition about wild birds sounds interesting. Where were the pictures taken? Can visitors ask the photographers questions?
Best wishes,
質問①:Where were the pictures taken?(撮影地)
質問②:Can visitors ask the photographers questions?(質問できるか)
注意するミス:Where do birds live?
|---|---|---|
| 相手の質問に答えた | Yes/No、考え、理由が明確 | Do you think…? → Yes, I think… because… |
| 同じ質問を繰り返さない | How much?+Is it expensive?
| 質問文として正しい | Do / Does / Is / Are / How longなどの語順 | How long does the tour take? |
|---|---|---|
| What kind? | What kinds of vegetables can students grow there?
| How long the tour takes? | How long does the tour take?
| Does it safe? | Is the water safe to drink?
| How much many students? | How many students can use the garden? How many |
| Where the pictures took? | Where were the pictures taken?
| Is it good? と Is it nice? | Can beginners join? と Is equipment necessary?
| Can students shares plans? | Can students share plans?
| How does robot knows it? | How does the robot know which bin to choose?
