- Point(結論):Today I’d like to suggest …
- Example(具体例):For example …
- Limit(条件・限界):although / however / might / cannot yet claimで言い過ぎを避ける。
- Point(締め):My goal is …
[1] Good afternoon. Today I’d like to suggest a simple way to reduce food waste in our school cafeteria. Some students finish their lunches, while others leave food because the portions are too large for them. I do not know how much food our school wastes, and I would not claim that one idea can solve every problem. But I think we can start with a small test.
[2] For two weeks, students could choose a regular portion or a smaller portion before lunch begins. Both choices should provide the food a student needs, and the school staff would decide what is practical and safe. We could ask volunteers to record which portion students chose and whether they were satisfied. Students should never have to share private health information.
[3] If the trial works well, we can discuss what to change next. If it does not, we can learn from the comments and try another approach. My goal is not to tell everyone to eat less. It is to give students a suitable choice. Thank you for listening.

[1] Hello, everyone. I would like to propose a walking map for students who want to learn about safe routes near our school. A short route is not always the safest one. For example, a narrow street may save time, but it may be difficult to cross when traffic is heavy. We need to think about both distance and safety.
[2] Our group could observe public crossings and sidewalks with teachers or other responsible adults. We would describe visible features such as traffic signals and the width of walking spaces. We should not put students’ home addresses or daily travel schedules on a public map. We should also explain that road conditions can change and that an old map cannot replace current instructions from school or local authorities.
[3] After checking the observations, we could prepare a draft map and ask adults to review it. Although we might find useful routes, the map should not promise that any route is completely safe. Instead, it could encourage students to pay attention and make informed choices. I hope this project will help us talk about safety in a more careful way. Thank you.

[1] Good afternoon. Do smartphones always make studying better or worse? I think the answer depends on how we use them. Some students use phones to check words, listen to English, or contact teachers. Others find that frequent notifications interrupt their concentration. Rather than calling phones either good or bad, I would like to suggest a voluntary study routine.
[2] Students who want to try it could study for fifteen minutes with unnecessary notifications turned off. They could then take a short break and decide whether the routine helped them focus. However, this method should not stop anyone from using a device for accessibility, important communication, or a learning activity that requires it. There is no reason to expect every student to benefit in the same way.
[3] I would ask students to write a short reflection after several study sessions: What was helpful? What was difficult? What would you change? These answers could help students choose their own strategies. My point is not that phones are the enemy of learning. It is that we should use technology deliberately. Thank you for your attention.
