結論：英検準2級リスニング第2部で『誰がするのか』を間違えるときは、3人以上の名前が出ても焦らず、発言している人・作業を依頼した人・実行する人・受け取る人を区別してください。I は発言者、he / she は直前の人物名を指すことが多いものの、必ず文脈で確認します。

英検協会の準2級公式案内では、リスニング第2部は会話内容に関する4肢選択・10問で、放送は1回です。この教材は慶英会オリジナルの8会話32問で『人物と役割の対応』を反復する追加訓練です。1会話に4問を付けた教材形式であり、公式の過去問や本番の問題構成そのものではありません。音声は付属せず台本で学習します。

人物を見失わないための4つの確認

  1. 最初に発言者を確認：「I」は誰か。会話の左右の名前を見ます。
  2. 動詞を確認：book / collect / deliver / return / check は別の作業。
  3. 予定と担当変更：We thought A would do it, but B will … は最終担当がB。
  4. 時刻の対応：Mondayに送るのは誰、Fridayに確認するのは誰かを切り分けます。

8会話・独自32問｜問題編

1会話あたり4問。最初は会話を見ずに読み上げを聞き、後で英文を確認します。補助として【人物／作業】の表を作ると、間違いの原因が語彙なのか代名詞なのか分かります。

会話1｜学校新聞：記事を書く人と写真を撮る人

Nina: Did you finish the article about our school festival, Leo?

Leo: Yes, I sent it to Maya this morning. She is editing the newspaper, so she will check my writing. I thought Maya would also take the photographs, but she is busy preparing the layout. よくある質問

Q. Iが指す人はいつも同じですか？

いいえ。会話中に話者が変われば、Iの指す人も変わります。本文中の誰の発話かを確認することが最優先です。

Q. 3人以上が出てきたら、全部の名前を覚えるべきですか？

全員の性格などを覚える必要はありません。質問に関係する動詞と名前だけを対応させるのが効率的です。例えばdeliverとreturnは異なる作業です。
