I / we / theyの指示対象も確認。
  • Reason / evidence:
  • Change / qualification:but / however / if / provided / mightに注意し、立場が修正された場合は最後の発言を確認。

I see your point, but …
I could support it if …
That might work.
I was wrong about …
Only then can we decide.

1|Which Library Guide Is Clearer?(Q1〜Q8)

1. Mika: I think we should print a simple route map. Some visitors do not use the online guide, and a printed map can show the entrance clearly.

2. Ren: Printed maps might help, but we should remember that access routes change. A digital guide is easier to update when one entrance closes.

3. Aya: Could we provide both? We could print a short guide and put an update date on it. The online guide could show the latest changes.

4. Ren: I agree that both might be useful, but I don’t want us to assume that the printed guide works until visitors have tested it.

5. Mika: That’s fair. I was focusing on access to the guide, not on whether the directions were already accurate. Let’s ask a small group to try both versions.

6. Facilitator: The proposed trial is not a permanent decision. We will first check the route with visitors, then discuss what should be published.

Mika.

I think we should print …。

Ren.

根拠:easier to update when one entrance closes。

Aya.

    根拠:Could we provide both?

Ren.

I don’t want us to assume … until visitors have tested it。

  5. Q5. Mika

She accepted that accessibility alone does not prove the directions are accurate.

Whether visitors can follow both guides.

No. The trial is only a proposal.

    根拠:Facilitatorがnot a permanent decisionと明言。

Mika favored a printed map, Ren valued quick digital updates, and Aya suggested using both. The group agreed to test the guides with visitors, but no final publication decision was made. The accuracy and usability of the directions still needed checking.

2|Can Survey Numbers Show Improvement?(Q9〜Q16)

1. Ken: Twenty students preferred audio practice in the second survey. Only eighteen preferred it in the first. So I think interest increased.

2. Yui: We need the denominators before making that claim. The first survey had forty respondents, and the second had fifty. Eighteen out of forty is forty-five percent; twenty out of fifty is forty percent.

3. Haru: So the number of people choosing audio increased by two, but the proportion went down by five percentage points. We should report both results.

4. Ken: You’re right. I should not have treated a larger count as a larger percentage. Could we also say the audio lessons improved listening scores?

5. Yui: No. The surveys asked about preferences, not listening test scores. We have not measured that outcome.

6. Haru: We should also mention that the respondents were not necessarily the same students in both surveys. A change in a survey result is not automatically a change in each person’s preference.

7. Ken: I will revise the slide to show the counts, percentages, and the limits of what was measured.

Ken.

Yui.

    根拠:n=40とn=50。

Forty-five percent.

Forty percent.

Haru.

Yui.

  7. Q15. Ken

His slide to include counts, percentages, and limitations.

Ken initially claimed that audio interest had increased because the count rose. Yui calculated the changing denominators, and Haru distinguished counts from percentages. The proportion fell from forty-five to forty percent. They agreed not to claim improved listening scores because those were not measured.

3|Should the Event Be Online Only?(Q17〜Q24)

1. Leo: I would prefer an online-only workshop. It could reduce travel and make schedule changes easier to announce.

2. Emi: I understand the convenience, but some students may not have reliable internet at home. I don’t think one format will work equally well for everyone.

3. Sora: What if we kept an on-site option while offering a live online connection for those who need it? We should check equipment before promising that connection.

4. Leo: That could work, although running two formats might require additional staff. I would support a short trial if we can check the practical costs.

5. Emi: I could support that trial too, provided the organizers explain how students can choose a format and get help with access.

6. Sora: I agree. We should not advertise online access as confirmed until the equipment and staffing have been approved.

7. Facilitator: We will collect cost information and test the equipment. Only then can we decide whether both formats are possible.

Leo.

Emi.

Sora.

    根拠:on-site plus live online connection。

No. He was willing to support a trial if costs were checked.

  5. Q21. Emi

Clear information about format choice and access support.

    解答:No.

No. They still need cost information and equipment tests.

    根拠:FacilitatorのOnly thenで明示。

Leo valued convenience, Emi worried about unequal internet access, and Sora proposed a hybrid format. Leo and Emi were willing to consider a trial under different conditions. The group had not approved online access because equipment, staffing, and cost still needed checking.

4|Can an Undated Photograph Be Used as Historical Proof?(Q25〜Q32)

1. Nao: We found a photograph that looks very old. I think the building in it must have been a bakery because the sign seems to say ‘bread’.

2. Rika: It might have been a bakery, but the sign is incomplete, and there is no date on the back. We shouldn’t write ‘confirmed’ on the label.

3. Sam: Could we compare the photograph with business records and a dated street map? Those sources might help us narrow down the possibilities.

4. Nao: I found a record showing that a tailor used the building in 1952. That seems to prove the building was never a bakery.

5. Rika: No. It establishes one use of the building in 1952. We do not know what the building was used for before or after that year.

6. Sam: Let’s label the photograph ‘date unknown’ and note that a tailor was recorded there in 1952. We can invite visitors to share further evidence.

7. Nao: I agree. I was making the same mistake twice: turning a clue into a definite conclusion.

Nao.

    根拠:must have been a bakeryという初期の断定。

Rika.

    根拠:sign incomplete / no date。

Sam.

    根拠:business records and dated map。

A tailor.

  5. Q29. Nao

That the building had never been a bakery.

A tailor used the building in 1952.

  7. Q31. Sam

Date unknown, with the 1952 tailor record identified.

Nao first assumed the building was a bakery and then claimed a later record proved it never was. Rika distinguished evidence from speculation, and Sam proposed checking sources. Nao accepted that one historical clue cannot establish every fact about a building.

First claim
Evidence
Correction
Final position
