|---|---|---|
| Who …?
| When …?
| How many …?
| Has …? / Did …?
| What does it refer to?
Why was the event moved? Because the hall was unavailable.
but / however / instead / newの前後を見る。
- should / may / can / not necessaryの違いを読み違える。
- not yet / had not decided / did not measureの否定を見落とす。

The school library team wanted to make reading more enjoyable for first-year and second-year students. At the start of April, it planned a Friday afternoon reading event. However, a music performance was going to use the library hall on that day, so the team moved the event to Thursday. The new start time was four thirty, thirty minutes later than the original time.
Each participant was asked to choose a short story and prepare three sentences about it. Students did not have to write a complete review. Those who wished to show a picture could use a shared screen, but bringing their own computer was not necessary.
After the first event, fifteen students said that they wanted to return. The team did not ask every participant the same question, so it could not report the percentage of all participants who liked the event. Next month, the team plans to give everyone a short questionnaire before making another announcement.
問題1. What day was originally planned for the reading event?
問題2. Why did the team change the day?
問題3. When will the new event start?
問題4. How many sentences should each participant prepare?
問題5. Do students need to bring their own computers?
問題6. How many students said they wanted to return?
問題7. Can the team calculate the percentage of all students who liked the event?
問題8. What does the team plan to do next month?
Our science club grew small plants in two boxes for three weeks. Both boxes contained the same kind of soil. One box stood by a window, while the other stood in the corner of the classroom. Club members watered the plants in both boxes every other day. They also took photographs every Monday.
By the end of the third week, the plants near the window looked taller. A student said, ‘This proves that sunlight is the only thing plants need.’ The teacher disagreed. The students had not measured the temperature or counted the exact number of leaves. Also, they had not tested the plants in other rooms.
The following week, the club decided to measure each plant’s height with a ruler and keep a more detailed record. The members hoped their next report would explain both what they knew and what was still uncertain.
問題9. How long did the students grow the plants?
問題10. What was the same in both boxes?
問題11. How often did they water the plants?
問題12. When did they take photographs?
問題13. Which plants looked taller at the end?
問題14. What did the teacher disagree with?
問題15. What had the students not measured?
問題16. What new measurement did they plan for the following week?
Students from two schools were planning an online reading exchange. At first, the teachers sent an email saying the meeting would be on Tuesday at five. Later, one partner school changed its timetable, and the teachers sent a new message. The online exchange would begin on Wednesday at five thirty. Students were told to use the link in the new message.
Every participant had to send a book title by Monday evening. They did not need to send a full speech. During the exchange, each student would introduce a character for one minute, and then other students could ask questions. Anyone who could not attend the live meeting was allowed to record a short introduction and send it by Friday.
The teachers planned groups of four, but the final group lists had not been shared yet. They were also considering a second meeting, although no date had been decided.
問題17. When was the meeting first planned?
問題18. What was the new meeting time?
問題19. Which online link should students use?
問題20. When must students send their book titles?
問題21. Must students submit their full speeches?
問題22. What can students who cannot attend live do?
問題23. How many students will be in each group?
問題24. Has a date for a second meeting been decided?
Fourteen students joined a project to make their school garden more comfortable. Their first idea was to add two benches near the trees. Another group suggested putting a small table closer to the gate. The students asked teachers and classmates where they liked to sit during breaks.
The team received twenty-six answers. Eleven people preferred a place near the trees, nine people preferred a place near the gate, and six people had no preference. The team prepared a chart, but the chart did not show how often each person used the garden.
Some students wanted to build the benches immediately. Their teacher asked them to compare costs and check whether the paths would remain wide enough for everyone. The team agreed to make a new plan before deciding what to build. No final design had been approved when they wrote their report.
問題25. How many students joined the project?
問題26. What was the first idea?
問題27. How many answers did the team receive?
問題28. How many people preferred the trees?
問題29. How many people had no preference?
問題30. What information did the chart not show?
問題31. What two things did the teacher ask the students to check?
問題32. Had the final design been approved?

|---|---|---|
| いつかを取り違える | old/new, Friday/Thursdayなど | 時系列を二列に分ける |
| Whyの理由が見つからない | because, so, as a result, 前の事実 | 原因・結果を矢印で結ぶ |
