英検協会が公開した2026年度第1回の準2級プラス公式問題冊子では、英文要約の語数は25〜35語です。公式試験内容では英文要約1題と意見英作文1題が示されています。以下は慶英会が新たに作成した英文と答案で、公式過去問・公式模範解答の転載ではありません。

賛成と懸念の要約を調査結果にも応用：英検準2級プラス英文要約｜調査結果と未回答者の独自6題・模範答案。25〜35語で主題・結果・制約を正確に残す練習です。
25〜35語要約の結論｜主題・賛成・懸念・未決定を残す
①何の計画か（school parking / museum opening / digital lending / rainwater tanks）。②賛成する人の利点（便利さ・利用機会・節水など）。③心配している人の懸念（安全・職員負担・操作・維持費）。④最後に何が決まっていて、何が未決定か。本文にない成功・効果・全員の賛成などを要約へ加えないようにします。
英文要約は自分の意見を書く問題ではありません。本文の内容を客観的に言い換え、However / but / whileを必要に応じて使って対比を保ちます。短くまとめるために固有名詞や細かな数字を省くことは可能ですが、本文の意味を逆にする省略は避けます。
学習手順｜先に5問を解き、最後に要約を書く
各長文で、本文を見ながら5つの内容確認問題に答えてから、25〜35語で要約してください。その後、実際に自分の語数を数えて模範答案を開き、本文のどこが残っているか比べます。模範答案は一例であり、同じ意味を正確に表す別の書き方も可能です。
独自長文1｜学校の自転車置き場｜便利さと安全
Some students at a city school want more bicycle parking spaces. They say that a new parking area would let them leave their bicycles closer to the school and spend less time walking from a distant parking lot.
However, teachers are concerned that more bicycles near the school gate could make the entrance crowded, especially in the morning. They would prefer a location away from younger children walking to school.
The principal has not approved any construction. The school will study possible locations and ask families for their views before deciding whether to create more parking spaces.

4長文の復習｜対立する立場を整理する
本文から「提案者・利用者の利点」「反対ではなく懸念を挙げる人」「すでに実施された試行」「まだ判断されていないこと」の4つに色分けします。例えば、試行用タンクを2基設置した事実は書けますが、タンクを増設すると決定した、という説明にはできません。
FAQ｜準2級プラスの英文要約で迷う点
Q. 賛成意見と反対意見は必ず両方書きますか？
本文の主題を理解するうえで両方が中心的なら、語数の範囲で重要な利点・懸念を残します。ただし、すべての長文が賛否構成というわけではありません。本文の構成に従って要約してください。
Q. 「実施する予定」は「実施した」に変えてもいいですか？
いいえ。plan to / may / will testなどは確定・完了を意味しないことがあります。has installed と will consider installing の違いを保ちます。
Q. 模範答案と同じ英文でなければ失点しますか？
同じ英文である必要はありません。内容を正確にまとめ、意味と文法を保つことが大切です。本文の主要情報が欠けたり、本文にない断定を加えたりしないよう確認しましょう。
