TOPIC: Should public museums be free for everyone?

I think public museums should be free for everyone. First, museums help people learn about history, science, and art, but admission fees can prevent some families from visiting. Free entry would give more children the chance to see real objects and ask questions. Second, many public museums are already supported by taxes, so it seems reasonable to make their regular exhibitions accessible without another fee. Museums could still charge for special events or accept donations to cover additional costs. For these reasons, I support free admission to permanent exhibitions.

I do not think every museum should be completely free. First, maintaining collections and protecting valuable objects require skilled staff and expensive equipment. If museums lose all admission income, they may have to reduce useful services. Second, visitors who can afford a small fee can help support educational programs for children and local schools. Instead of removing all charges, museums could offer free days or discounts to people who need them. This approach could improve access while giving museums a stable source of money to protect their collections.

TOPIC: Should schools allow students to use AI tools for learning?

I think schools should allow students to use AI tools when teachers set clear rules. First, these tools can explain difficult words or provide extra examples, which may help students review lessons at home. Second, students need to learn how to check whether online answers are reliable instead of accepting everything immediately. Teachers could ask students to compare AI explanations with textbooks and explain their own reasoning. Of course, using AI to complete assignments without understanding them should not be accepted. With proper guidance, the tools could support learning and critical thinking.

I do not think schools should encourage students to rely heavily on AI tools. First, some students may copy answers without understanding the ideas behind them. This could weaken the skills they need for tests and future study. Second, AI systems can make mistakes, and younger learners may not know how to check the information. Schools should focus on textbooks, discussions, and practice problems before introducing these tools widely. Students could still use AI for limited activities under a teacher’s supervision. Learning to think independently should remain the main goal.

TOPIC: Should cities build more bicycle lanes?

I think cities should build more bicycle lanes. First, clear lanes can make cycling safer by separating riders from busy car traffic. This may encourage some people to ride bicycles instead of driving for short trips. Second, cycling provides regular exercise and could help reduce traffic in crowded neighborhoods. Cities should study road width carefully and make sure pedestrians are also protected. Although new lanes cost money, they can become useful public facilities when they are planned well. For these reasons, I support improving bicycle routes in urban areas.

I do not think building more bicycle lanes should be every city’s top priority. First, some towns have narrow roads, and adding a new lane might make it harder for buses or emergency vehicles to pass. Second, many residents travel long distances or have physical conditions that make cycling difficult. Public money may be better spent improving buses and sidewalks in those areas. Cities should examine how people actually travel before choosing projects. Bicycle lanes can be useful, but their value depends on local road conditions and residents’ needs.

TOPIC: Will more people work from home in the future?

I think more people will work from home in the future. First, online meetings and shared documents make it easier for office workers to cooperate without traveling every day. This may save both time and transportation costs. Second, remote work allows some people to live farther from large cities while keeping their jobs. However, not every occupation can be done from home, and employees still need chances to communicate with colleagues. Companies that combine home and office work carefully may give staff more flexibility while maintaining teamwork.

I do not think most people will work entirely from home in the future. First, many jobs require direct contact with customers, patients, or equipment, so remote work is not possible for everyone. Second, some employees communicate more effectively when they meet colleagues in person, especially when they are learning new tasks. Companies may offer occasional work-from-home days, but they will still need workplaces for many activities. For these reasons, I expect a mixture of remote and office work rather than a complete change to working at home.

TOPIC: Should schools require students to wear uniforms?

I think students should wear school uniforms. First, uniforms can reduce pressure to buy expensive clothes for school because students do not have to choose a different outfit every day. Second, a common style may help create a sense of belonging and make it easier for staff to identify students during events. Schools should still allow comfortable options for different seasons and individual needs. Wearing uniforms will not solve every problem at school, but reasonable rules may make daily routines simpler. For these reasons, I support practical and flexible uniform policies.

I do not think all students should be required to wear uniforms. First, students have different needs for comfort, especially during very hot or cold weather. Allowing simple everyday clothes could help them choose what suits them. Second, buying a specific uniform may be expensive for families who have several children. Schools can still have clear rules about safe and appropriate clothing without requiring identical outfits. A flexible dress code would respect students’ needs while keeping the learning environment orderly. Therefore, I prefer practical clothing rules to compulsory uniforms.

TOPIC: Should stores charge customers for plastic shopping bags?

I think stores should charge a small fee for plastic shopping bags. First, paying for a bag may remind customers to bring reusable ones from home. This could reduce the number of bags used for only a few minutes. Second, stores could use some of the money to improve recycling information and offer durable shopping bags. However, the fee should be reasonable, and customers who need bags for hygiene or safety should have suitable options. A small charge is not a complete environmental solution, but it may encourage more careful shopping habits.

I do not think charging for every plastic shopping bag is the best solution. First, some customers need bags unexpectedly, especially when they shop on the way home from work or school. Extra charges may be inconvenient for them. Second, reducing waste requires more than changing one kind of packaging. Stores should also improve product containers and help customers reuse or recycle materials. I would prefer shops to provide simple alternatives and clear information instead of relying mainly on bag fees. This approach could address several sources of waste together.

TOPIC: Should students study abroad before finishing high school?

I think studying abroad before finishing high school can be a valuable opportunity. First, students can use another language in everyday situations, which may help them become more confident speakers. Second, living with people from a different culture can teach students to understand other ways of thinking. Schools should provide preparation and support because young people may feel lonely or face unfamiliar problems. Although studying abroad can be expensive, scholarships and short programs could make the experience possible for more students. I believe it is worth encouraging when suitable support is available.

I do not think students need to study abroad before finishing high school. First, international programs can be expensive, and not every family can afford travel and living costs. Second, students can learn about other cultures at home through books, online exchanges, and conversations with visitors. Young people may also prefer to focus on their school subjects before moving to another country. Studying abroad can certainly be useful for some students, but it should remain an option rather than an expectation. Schools can provide international experiences in several affordable ways.

TOPIC: Should communities organize more events for older residents?

I think communities should organize more events for older residents. First, regular activities give people chances to meet others and may help reduce feelings of loneliness. For example, a local center could offer walking groups or language classes. Second, these events can encourage older and younger residents to share skills and experiences. Organizers should make sure the locations are easy to reach and that participation is affordable. Not everyone enjoys group activities, so quiet alternatives should also be available. With these choices, community events could make local life more welcoming.

I do not think organizing more large events should be the main way to help older residents. First, some people may find crowded activities tiring or difficult to attend, especially if transportation is limited. Second, regular practical services, such as assistance with shopping or clear medical information, may be more useful than occasional events. Communities should ask residents what support they actually need before spending money. Small visiting programs and flexible activities could be better options in some areas. Helping people should begin with understanding their different situations and preferences.
