  • 留保は残す:may / not necessarily / if …

例えばYes, I agree.

Q1|Should schools require students to learn how to check online information?

I think it is important because the world has a lot of information and there are a lot of different ways of looking at information and we need to think about things.

Evaluating sources helps students distinguish supported claims from persuasive language. Schools can practice this through short comparisons of articles, while encouraging students to explain why one source is more reliable.

Q2|Would a separate compulsory media-literacy course be necessary?

Well, to be honest, I guess there are many pros and cons of making it a course and whether it should be one depends on many things.

Schools could integrate source evaluation into existing language and social studies lessons. What matters is whether students can use those skills when faced with unfamiliar claims.

Q3|What about teachers who lack specialist training?

It would be ideal if teachers knew absolutely everything about the internet, because the internet is huge and every student uses it differently.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):Schools should provide practical materials and short professional-development sessions. A teacher does not need to know every online platform to teach students to check evidence and recognize uncertainty.

Q4|Can technology replace personal feedback from teachers?

Technology is powerful and there are many apps and they have many features so it is really complicated to make an absolute decision about this.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):It can assist with routine practice, but it should not replace all individual feedback. Students may need a teacher to clarify why a solution is incorrect or how their reasoning can improve.

Q5|How would you evaluate a new after-school program?

First, there are many ways to evaluate things, and we need to decide which way is a good way, and evaluation is very important in education.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):I would examine learning on unfamiliar tasks, access for students facing barriers, and staff workload. Attendance is useful information, but it cannot by itself establish that the program improves understanding.

Q6|Should cities make repairing electronics easier?

I really think fixing things is good, and many things are broken, so we should always fix them, and then everyone will be very happy.

Yes, when devices can be repaired safely and at reasonable cost. Repair may extend useful life and reduce some waste, but the environmental benefit should be assessed rather than assumed.

Q7|Are planting more trees always the best way to reduce urban heat?

Trees are beautiful and I love parks and nature, and I think people should love nature more because it is important.

Not always. Trees can provide shade, but cities also need to consider water, maintenance, and access to cooling spaces. Different neighborhoods may benefit from different measures.

Q8|What would you do if an environmental program became too expensive?

Money is always a problem, and governments have to spend money on many things, and there are many different opinions about how much money to spend.

I would compare its actual benefits with realistic alternatives before expanding it. A limited trial may reveal which measures are most effective and which costs can be reduced.

Q9|Can individual consumers solve environmental problems alone?

Everyone needs to do something and the government needs to do something and companies also need to do something, and it is all very important.

Personal choices matter, but some problems depend on infrastructure and business practices. Public policy and industry cooperation may therefore be necessary alongside voluntary action.

Q10|Should all environmental research data be publicly available?

Transparency is really important, although privacy is also important and we have to balance everything because everything has good and bad sides.

General findings should be accessible, but information that could identify individuals or expose vulnerable habitats may need controlled access and independent review.

Q11|Should governments subsidize retraining for workers?

Training is very good, and a lot of people need training because jobs are changing, and the world is changing quickly.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):Yes, if programs teach skills relevant to realistic employment opportunities. Support should consider course quality, access for low-income workers, and whether participants can demonstrate practical competence.

Q12|Does automation always lead to better jobs?

Well, sometimes technology is good and sometimes it is bad, and there are many examples of good technology and bad technology.

No. It may reduce dangerous tasks, but the outcome depends on how employers manage training, workload, and pay. Productivity growth alone does not prove improved working conditions.

Q13|Should employers disclose salary ranges in job ads?

Salary is a topic that people care about very much and there are many different kinds of salaries and different people have different ideas.

Clear ranges can help applicants compare opportunities and reduce unnecessary uncertainty. Employers should also explain how experience and responsibilities affect the final offer.

Q14|What might prevent a training program from helping job seekers?

Many things could go wrong, such as money, time, people, and the economy, so it is very difficult.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):Training may fail if the skills taught do not match available jobs or if learners cannot afford to attend. Evaluation should separate completion, demonstrated skills, and subsequent employment.

Q15|Should small businesses receive the same subsidy as large businesses?

All companies are different, but they are also similar in some ways, and it is hard to make decisions about them.

A subsidy should reflect the problem being addressed and whether support is genuinely needed. Equal amounts can produce unequal practical benefits for firms with different resources.

Q16|Should essential public services be available offline?

Digitalization is a trend and everybody uses phones these days, but some people do not use phones, and many things can happen.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):Yes, where an online-only system would exclude people. Limited staffed or telephone assistance can help residents complete complex procedures and maintain access during technical failures.

Q17|Can an identical policy treat everyone fairly?

Fairness is a very difficult concept and philosophers have discussed it for hundreds of years, so it is impossible to answer quickly.

Not necessarily. People face different barriers, so identical procedures may produce unequal access. Policymakers should assess whether users can actually benefit from the service.

Q18|Should public libraries charge every visitor?

Libraries have books and computers and many people like libraries, and their history is very long, so this is difficult.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):I would favor free access to core learning resources, while reviewing how specialized services are funded. Fees can discourage people with limited means, but libraries also need sustainable budgets.

Q19|How could cities involve residents in development decisions?

The government can talk to people and people can talk to the government and then everyone can decide together and that would be nice.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):They could provide accessible consultations and explain how different proposals were evaluated. Participation should include people who are less likely to attend public meetings, not just the most vocal groups.

Q20|What is the risk of relying only on online surveys?

The internet is very useful but surveys can be good or bad, and there can be many kinds of surveys, so that is the difficulty.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):The sample may underrepresent residents with limited connectivity or interest in digital services. Officials should use complementary methods before treating the results as the views of the wider population.

Q21|Why is independent replication important?

Science is important, and researchers work very hard, so it is good when different scientists do science and try things.

It helps researchers check whether findings hold when others repeat relevant methods. A single positive result can be informative, but it may not establish a reliable general conclusion.

Q22|Should scientists release preliminary findings?

Research takes a long time and there are many stages in research, so scientists have to choose the best time to say something.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):They may do so when uncertainty and limitations are clearly communicated. Early information can be useful, but readers should not confuse a provisional observation with established evidence.

Q23|Do more published papers always mean better research?

There are so many papers nowadays and people publish papers for many reasons and academic life can be competitive.

No. Publication counts measure output, not necessarily reliability or scientific value. Quality assessment should consider methods, reproducibility, and the significance of the findings.

Q24|Why might a scientific study produce conflicting results?

Science is complex, and many experiments are different, and researchers do things differently, so the answers can also be different.

Differences in samples, methods, or measurement conditions can affect outcomes. Researchers should examine those factors before concluding that one result must be invalid.

Q25|Would you support more public funding for basic research?

I like science because new discoveries can change the world and science is exciting and very important for the future.

Basic research may create knowledge beyond immediate commercial applications, but funding decisions still need transparent priorities and quality assessment.

Q26|Should governments support endangered languages?

Language is very interesting and I think it would be very sad if languages disappeared because different languages are different.

Yes, when local communities wish to preserve them. Language carries cultural knowledge, and support should follow community priorities rather than impose a single outside model.

Q27|Can digital archives replace living cultural traditions?

Digital technology is amazing and many things can be recorded, so people do not really have to worry about culture anymore.

Not entirely. Archives can preserve recordings and documents, but practices may also require teaching, participation, and continued use within communities.

Q28|Why is international cooperation needed for environmental challenges?

The world is very connected and countries should be friends and help each other, and cooperation is usually a good thing.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):Many environmental systems cross national borders, so isolated policies may be insufficient. Cooperation can support monitoring and shared standards, while allowing countries to adapt measures to local conditions.

Q29|Should museums make all their collections available online?

Museums are wonderful and many people enjoy seeing objects, and if everything is online it might be much easier for everyone.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):I favor broader access with context and privacy safeguards. Sensitive personal information or fragile-site locations may require review, and a digital image alone may not explain a historical object’s meaning.

Q30|Can cultural exchanges eliminate misunderstandings between countries?

International exchange is a very good thing and people will all understand each other when they meet and become friends.

改善回答(慶英会モデル):They can reduce some misconceptions by creating opportunities for direct communication, but they cannot remove every political or historical disagreement. Their value depends on continued dialogue and mutual respect.
