| may / might / could | will / mustに強める | 可能性は確実性ではない |

At first, the students expected Room A to use less electricity. They measured electricity use for four afternoons, but the results changed from day to day. On some days, both rooms were used for different activities. Their teacher explained that the club should not draw a conclusion from such a small set of observations. The students decided to record the number of people, the weather, and the hours each room was used in the next survey.
問7:What did the club compare? 答え:________________________
問8:What did the students expect at first? 答え:________________________

A town library wanted foreign visitors to find books more easily. It added English labels to some shelves and created a simple map. Staff members believed the changes were helpful, but they did not know which parts visitors actually used. A group of students interviewed ten volunteer visitors. Several visitors liked the map, while others preferred signs near the entrance. The students recommended using both. They also suggested checking the signs regularly because book locations may change. Their report did not claim that every visitor needed the same information.
問13:Why did the library add English labels? 答え:________________________

問15:How many volunteers were interviewed? 答え:________________________

A class studied why some students did not use local buses. A short survey showed that many students thought buses were expensive, but several respondents had not checked the current fares. The class visited the bus company’s public website and compared prices for different routes. Some routes offered student discounts, while others did not. The students prepared a chart showing the routes and their conditions. They did not tell everyone to use the bus because travel distance and schedules were different. Instead, they suggested that students compare accurate information before choosing how to travel.
問19:What did the class want to understand? 答え:________________________
問20:What did some students believe about buses? 答え:________________________
問21:What information had some respondents not checked? 答え:________________________
問22:Where did the class find fare information? 答え:________________________
問23:Did every route offer a student discount? 答え:________________________

A reading club planned an event to help students discover new books. The first plan was to let each speaker talk for ten minutes. However, only two groups could present within the available time. Members changed the plan to five minutes per group and added short written recommendations. More groups were able to participate, although some speakers wanted additional time. After the event, the club collected feedback. Participants said the written recommendations were useful for choosing books later. The club decided to keep the written notes but reconsider the speaking time next year.
問25:What was the event’s purpose? 答え:________________________
問26:How long was each talk in the first plan? 答え:________________________
