英検準２級プラスの二次試験｜公式形式を正確に理解する

• 音読：約55語の英文を読む。黙読20秒のあと、タイトルから音読。
• No.1：本文の情報について質問１問。本文を見ながら答えられる。
• No.2：３コマのイラストで出来事の順序を説明する。独立した考慮時間20秒。カードに与えられた言い出し部分を使用する。

英検協会の準２級プラス試験内容・二次試験の受け方には、個人面接が約７分であること、No.2の考慮時間が20秒であることが明記されています。準２級の二次面接は約６分・No.1〜5の５問で、２枚のイラストの動作・状況説明が別問題です。級が異なれば練習配分も異なります。準２級の形式は英検協会公式の準２級試験内容で確認できます。

オリジナル例：①A girl found a lost book. ②She took it to a library desk. ③A staff member returned it to its owner. ３枚の状況を知ってから文章を作る練習は、順序を表すOne day / Then / Later / Finallyを選び、時制を過去に統一する練習です。学校英語で現在形の説明はできるのに、出来事を時系列に並べると動詞が現在形に戻る人は、この部分を優先してください。

公式のイラストには冒頭部分が提示されますが、以下の問題は慶英会の独自教材であり、公式サンプルにある人物や構図の再現ではありません。画像を掲載せず、３コマを日本語で文章化しています。そのため本番の絵を見て情報を抽出する練習にはならず、最後は協会の公式サンプル問題・バーチャル二次試験を併用してください。

独自５セット・20問｜音読・本文・３コマ・意見

各セットは、①音読用の短い文章、②No.1の内容質問、③No.2の３コマ描写、④No.3・No.4の意見質問で構成しています。40問の数え方は各セット４問×５セット＝20問、追加意見質問20問＝40問です。音読は各セットに付属する練習であり、問題数には加算していません。模範解答は唯一の解答ではなく、本文と質問の意味が合う自然な回答例です。

面接練習で最初に解決したい４つの失点原因

• 本文が読めるのにNo.1で沈黙：質問の疑問詞how / why / whatを判別し、本文から根拠を拾う。必ずしも全文を暗唱しない。
• ３コマの説明が現在形になる：場面が過去の出来事として設定されていれば動詞を過去形でそろえる。結果を一文追加し、順番が飛んでいないか確認。
• 20秒で何を考えるか決められない：①主人公②問題・行動③結果の３語だけを頭で決める。例文丸ごとの暗唱はしない。
• No.3・4で理由が思いつかない：environment、cost、safety、learning、timeなど、設問に自然に合う一つの観点を選び、becauseでつなぐ。

準２級プラス面接14日練習モデル｜定期テストと両立

１〜３日目：各セットの音読文章を読み、単語の発音・区切り・内容理解に集中する。No.1への答えを本文のどこから取ったか線を引く。４〜６日目：３コマ説明のみを各日２題。最初は日本語で順番を整理し、次に英語で過去の出来事へ変える。

７日目：初見の３コマの場面を20秒で考え、その後で英語で３〜４文にする。８〜10日目：No.3・No.4と追加20問を組み合わせ、１日７問程度を口頭練習する。答えを先に見ない。11〜12日目：１セットを通し、聞き返す練習も取り入れる。13日目：公式サンプルの画像とバーチャル二次試験を使用して本番の順番・カードを裏返すタイミングを確認。14日目：苦手な設問番号を２〜３種類に絞って再テストする。
