伝聞と確認済みの事実は別
The hall is said to have reopened.では開館したと伝えられています。しかし公式日程、受入状況、点検済みかどうかが別に必要です。英問英答では「誰が報告したか」「何が確認されたか」を本文から区別します。
完了不定詞の時間軸と受動態
People report that the hall was repaired last year. → The hall is reported to have been repaired last year.。to haveは完了、been repairedは受動を表します。「建物が修理をした」と読み違えないでください。

第4部｜A library schedule（問25〜30）
A fictional school newspaper reported that the library was expected to extend its opening hours. An earlier student post said the new timetable had already been approved, but the newspaper could find only a draft. It was reported that the committee would review the plan on Friday. The library currently closed at 5 p.m.; a possible 7 p.m. closing time was under discussion. The editor wrote that the extension was believed to be useful, while noting that no final decision had been announced. Students were asked to follow the existing schedule until the school published an official notice.

第5部｜An old science archive（問31〜36）
A fictional school kept an archive of science projects. A water study was said to have started in 2018 and to have used three school gardens. The archive team found two folders, but neither contained an official start date. It was believed that the study had ended in 2019, although the month remained unknown. One student wrote that it had definitely ended in September. The teacher asked for a revision, explaining that no available record supported September. The students separated confirmed documents from reported dates before preparing an exhibition.

第6部｜A community workshop（問37〜42）
A fictional community centre published a notice saying that a science workshop was expected to be held next month. Forty students were reported to have expressed interest, but only twenty-four application forms had been received by Tuesday. Eighteen of those forms were complete; six were missing signatures. The organiser was said to be considering a second session. However, that proposal had not been discussed by the committee. No date had yet been set for the first workshop. The centre promised to publish a timetable after checking registrations and room availability.

A fictional school report said that a sports room was believed to have been repaired during the summer. The caretaker confirmed that workers had replaced one broken window and painted the walls. However, the final safety inspection had not been completed. The room was expected to reopen after an inspection scheduled for Thursday. Some students thought it had reopened because the lights were on. The caretaker explained that the lights were being used during maintenance and that students were not allowed to enter. The school planned to announce a decision on Friday, provided the inspection was complete.
