結論｜take notes・write down・note down・make a note of
- take notes on＋話題：take notes on a presentation（発表を聞きながらメモを取る）。
- write down＋情報：write down the date／write it down（日付を書き留める）。
- note down＋情報：note down the figures／note them down（数値を書き留める）。
- make a note of＋情報：make a note of the deadline（締切を記録する）。
- make a note to do：make a note to call tomorrow（明日電話することをメモする）。行動したかどうかは別。
write downとnote downの意味は大きく重なりますが、note downは少し改まった場面でも使われます。句動詞のwrite down／note downでは、代名詞をwrite it down／note it downの順番にします。測定値を記録したことと、元の資料に照らして正しいと確かめたことも区別しましょう。

独自英文：At Maple River School, the science club measured the temperature of a classroom during three afternoons. On Monday, Yui wrote down 20°C. On Tuesday, Ken noted down 22°C, and on Wednesday, Mika recorded 21°C. During the teacher’s explanation, the students took notes on the difference between measurements and conclusions. The teacher asked them to make a note of the deadline for submitting a chart: Friday at 4 p.m. She also asked the leader to make a note to contact the school office about the room booking on Thursday. The leader wrote down the task, but the report did not say the call had been made. On Thursday, the members checked all three numbers against the original records and found them correct. They finished their chart, but had not yet submitted it. The teacher reminded them that writing down a task, completing a task and confirming a result were different stages.

take a noteとtake notesは同じですか？
一般的な授業中のノート取りはtake notesが自然です。一つだけメモを取る場合にはtake a noteも使えます。
write downとnote downはどちらが正しいですか？
どちらも情報を書き留める場合に使えます。文体・地域差があっても基本の意味は近い表現です。
write down itは正しいですか？
分離できる句動詞ではwrite it downが基本です。
make a note ofとmake a note toの違いは？
前者は記録する情報、後者は自分が今後行う予定の行動を示せます。
記録したことは確認済み・提出済みの証拠ですか？
