1. 誰が何をしたかをまず1文にする。2. 数値・条件・例外のうち結論を変えるものを残す。3. 例だけを残したり、未確認の効果を断定したりしない。4. 英文の単語数を数え、指定範囲に収める。学校の答案で指定が異なる場合は、その指示を優先してください。

慶英会の独自短文：The school library usually closes at five. During the final test week, it will stay open until six on Wednesday only. The other weekdays will follow the normal schedule. The librarian hopes that more students can finish their homework, but the school has not measured the effects of the longer hours. On Thursday, the usual five o’clock closing time will return.

Some students believed the extra water caused the difference. Their teacher pointed out that the amount of sunlight had also changed, so the class could not identify one cause from this experiment. They decided to design another test with only one condition changed.

第5題｜英作文の提出と添削

慶英会の独自短文：Twenty students submitted English paragraphs through a fictional classroom website. By Friday, the teacher had checked fifteen paragraphs and returned written comments to those students. The other five had been received but were still waiting for review. The system showed all twenty as submitted. The teacher reminded the class that submitted did not mean checked, and that a paragraph waiting for review should not be counted as incorrect before it was read.

慶英会の独自短文：Aya borrowed an eighty-page English book on Monday and planned to read twenty pages a day for four days. She was allowed to return the book by the following Monday. The librarian explained that Aya’s reading plan would finish the book on Thursday if she followed it. However, the library had no record showing how many pages she had actually read. A completed plan on paper did not prove that the book was already finished.
