読む前のポイント

Rain tapped the roof（雨が屋根をたたくようだった）は擬人化を伴う情景表現で、雨が本当に指でたたいたという意味ではありません。felt warm（温かく感じた）は気持ちを表す場合があり、必ずしも気温の数値を示しません。本文で直接確認できる事実と解釈の区別が大切です。
