聖園女学院公式「英語・国際教育」は、中学の週6時間をReading3時間・Grammar2時間・英会話1時間とし、教科書New Horizonを使用すると説明しています。毎年1月に中1〜高2が校内で英検を受験する機会を設け、オンライン英会話を年間100回まで受講でき、そのうちReading授業中に10回程度を組み込むと案内しています。現在の制度・受験案内は学校の最新情報を優先してください。

英検協会の3級の試験内容と英語版3級案内では、ライティングはEメール返信1題・意見英作文1題です。Eメールは15〜25語で受信メールに書かれた質問2つへ回答し、意見英作文は25〜35語で自分の立場と異なる理由2つを書きます。準2級で求められる具体的質問2つを追加する形式とは違います。確認日：2026年11月4日。

3級ライティングで答えを失う二つのパターン

• 相手の2質問の片方を読み落として、別の話題を書いてしまう。まずWhat・When・Whereなどを丸で囲みます。
• 意見英作文で理由を一つしか書けない、または理由2つが同じことの言い換えになる。先に別々の視点を日本語でメモします。
• 文法の基礎である三単現・過去形・助動詞を、知っている単語でも正しい形で使えない。
• 語数が足りないときは質問への具体的情報を補い、同じ意見を繰り返さない。

学校のオンライン英会話で答えられる問いが、筆記になっても正しく書けるかを分けて確認するのがポイントです。例えばWhen do you practice?には練習の日時、Who do you practice with?には相手を答えます。相手が求めた情報を落とさず、短く正確な英文を目指します。

• 5日目：問1〜16の間違いを隠し、別の主語・時制で自力で答え直す。
• 6〜7日目：Eメール問17〜20で2質問の両方に答えているか確認する。
• 8〜9日目：問21〜24を本人の経験に合わせて書く。
• 10〜11日目：意見文問25〜28で異なる理由2つを作る。
• 12日目：問29〜32を25〜35語でまとめる。
• 13日目：学校の英作文の返却答案があれば、間違いを内容・構成・語法・文法に分類する。
• 14日目：初見Eメールと意見文を各1題、模範回答を見ずに書く。

A. 学校公式は中1〜高2の生徒が毎年1月に校内で一斉に英検を受験すると説明しています。ただし全員が同じ級を受験するわけではありません。

Q. オンライン英会話を年間100回受けたらライティングは十分ですか？

A. 年間100回は利用可能な回数の説明です。会話を聞いて答える力と、英文を正確に書く力は別に確認してください。

Q. 3級のEメールでは自分から質問2つを作りますか？

A. いいえ。3級は受信した2つの質問に答えます。準2級の形式と混同しないようにします。

Q. Writingで毎回同じ文法ミスをする場合は？

A. 正答を写すだけでなく、修正の理由を説明した上で、翌日に新しい文へ同じ文法を使う練習が必要です。
