英検3級Readingの公式問題と本稿の独自40問

誤読を減らす4つの具体的方法

• 「いつ」の意味を分類：「9:30開場」と「10:15開始」、「申込締切」と「当日の集合時間」を別の欄に書く
• 変更前後を二列にする：first / instead / but / will などの語を見つけ、古い予定と現在の予定を区別する
• 数字の分母・対象をそろえる：毎日使う生徒17人と、時々使う6人は重なりのない異なる集計であることを確認する
• 本文にない因果を追加しない：結果が改善しても学習時間・元の力が違う場合「この方法が必ず最善」と断定できない

全問を解く前に、初回は英文を通読して主題を1行にまとめます。続いて質問を読み、本文の該当箇所を探し、選択肢を比べます。採点後は正解の理由だけではなく、選ばなかった選択肢のどの部分が本文と違うかを確認してください。学校の使用教材の文法が未習であれば、本文中の知らない構文を先に学習してから再挑戦できます。

第3題｜英語の復習方法と結果を比較する（説明文：問21〜30）

Four students wanted to find a better way to remember English words from short stories. For two weeks, they each tried a different method. Hana reviewed ten words for five minutes every evening. Sota read the same passage aloud every morning. Riku made sentences with new words and asked a friend to check the grammar twice a week. Mei listened to a recorded story and wrote a summary afterward.
Before the activity, they took a twenty-question quiz. Hana answered eleven questions correctly, Sota thirteen, Riku twelve, and Mei fourteen. After two weeks, Hana answered sixteen, Sota fifteen, Riku eighteen, and Mei seventeen. Riku received the highest score in the second quiz.
