学校公式「中学の学び・コース概要」では、英語特別コースをA・B・インターに分け、コースBがインターと一緒にListening＆Speakingを受講すること、インターはネイティブ教員によるAll English授業であることが示されています。公式：中学のコース概要。学校公式のデジタルパンフレットにはAを英検4〜3級、Bを準2級、インターを2級以上の目安として説明していますが、これは入学時の英語力の目安であり、全員の取得級や自動的なコース昇格条件ではありません。公式：2026年版デジタルパンフレット。
英検協会の公式準2級試験内容では、リスニングは約25分・合計30問で、会話応答10問、会話内容一致10問、短文内容一致10問。いずれも放送回数は1回です。英検準2級の試験内容。本教材は一回で事実を把握する技能を練習するための独自40問で、公式音声や出題内容を再現したものではありません。
