学校公式の洋書多読・ライティングと英検準2級Eメール
フェリス女学院公式「英語科の特色」は、中1・中2で初級者向け洋書の多読、フォニックス、ペア・グループワーク、身近なテーマのライティングや短いスピーチなどを行うと説明します。読んで理解できる表現を自分の言葉で相手に返す練習は、学校英語と外部検定を接続する方法の一つです。学校が中1・中2全員に準2級合格を義務付けているとの断定はしません。
英検協会の2026年度第1回準2級公式問題冊子のWriting指示では、受信したEメールの質問にわかりやすく答えること、下線部の特徴を尋ねる具体的質問を2つ自分からすること、解答欄の英文を40〜50語にまとめることが示されています。ここに示す8通は、方式だけを参考にしてゼロから作成したものです。

準2級Eメールの失点を減らす4つの確認
相手の最後の質問を無視して質問だけを書く
返信の目的を外すと、こちらの質問2つが正しくても十分ではありません。Do you think …?に対してYes/Noと明確な理由を先に一文で書きます。
下線部について本文に書かれていることをまた聞く
「読書会を毎週水曜に開いている」と記載されているのにWhat day do you meet?と質問してはいけません。未記載の参加人数・場所・活動内容・期間などの特徴を尋ねます。
2質問が重複する
How often …? と How many times each week …?は同じ情報になりやすい質問です。種類と人数、場所と期間など、異なる角度を選ぶと具体性を高めやすくなります。
語数を満たすため質問以外の文を増やす
まず相手への返答と質問2つを確保し、次に理由や本人の関心を短く添えます。語数のためだけに無関係な一般論を増やす必要はありません。
14日間の家庭練習
1〜3日目はA・Bで質問1の回答を確実にし、4〜6日目はC・Dで下線部に関する質問2つを作り、7〜10日目はE・Fで疑問文の語順と40〜50語を確認。11〜14日目はG・Hのテーマを変え、解答を隠した初見のメールに再挑戦します。学校教材を優先して1日15〜20分程度から調整します。

受験者が下線部の特徴について具体的な質問2つを作ります。英検3級の受信した2質問へ回答する形式とは異なります。
語数は何語ですか。
英検協会公式指示では40〜50語です。答案欄に書く英文を数え、挨拶など印刷済みの部分は別に扱います。
学校の多読で英語が理解できれば書けますか。
読書は語彙の基礎ですが、疑問文2つを正しい語順で作る技能は実際の筆記で確認する必要があります。
中1から準2級を受けるべきですか。
本人の文法・語彙・現在の受験級を優先します。学校の課題が不安定なら、まず学校英語の基礎を復習してください。
準2級プラスのWritingも同じですか。
