  • may・canをwill・alwaysに変えて、根拠のない断定を加えない。

Some neighborhoods have started small tool-sharing libraries. Residents can borrow a drill, a ladder, or another tool when they need it. This means they do not have to buy equipment they might use only once a year.

Neighbors can also learn from one another. A volunteer might explain how to fix a broken chair or how to use a tool safely.

However, this service is not always easy to manage. Some tools are returned late or damaged. Organizers need clear borrowing records and regular maintenance to keep the service useful.

Residents can avoid buying rarely used tools.。

Tools may be returned late or damaged.。

解答:repairing a broken chair。

Some neighborhoods run tool-sharing libraries so residents can borrow equipment and save money. However, shared tools may be lost or damaged, so clear borrowing records and maintenance are important.

All shared tools are returned on time and never need maintenance.

Some schools have installed small bicycle repair stations near their entrances. Students can use air pumps and basic tools to deal with simple problems before traveling home.

The stations can also help students become more independent. Learning to check a tire or adjust a bicycle seat may give them confidence.

However, tools can be dangerous when they are used incorrectly. School staff should explain safety rules and inspect the equipment regularly. Students should not be expected to solve difficult mechanical problems without help.

Students can deal with minor problems independently.。

解答:Misusing tools may cause accidents.。

解答:checking a tire and adjusting a seat。

Schools are adding bicycle repair stations to help students solve simple problems and travel independently. However, tools can be misused, so staff must explain safety rules and check equipment regularly.

All students can safely repair any bicycle problem without help.

Some teachers record online study meetings and allow students to watch them later. This helps students who missed the live lesson because of an illness or another activity.

Recorded lessons can be paused and watched again. A student may review a difficult explanation without asking the teacher to repeat it during another class.

However, recordings cannot answer new questions immediately. Students may misunderstand something and continue studying incorrectly. Teachers therefore need to offer other opportunities for students to ask questions and receive feedback.

解答:Absent students can review explanations later.。

解答:Recordings cannot answer new questions immediately.。

解答:pausing a recording。

Recorded online study meetings let absent students review lessons and reduce scheduling problems. However, recordings cannot replace live questions, so teachers still need to offer opportunities for students to ask for help.

Recordings completely replace teachers, so students never need feedback.

Some towns are testing streetlights that become brighter when someone walks nearby. When the street is quiet, the lights use less electricity.

Local officials hope the new system can reduce energy costs while helping people walk safely at night. It may be particularly helpful on roads that have few visitors.

However, sensors do not always respond correctly in heavy rain or other difficult conditions. A light that stays too dark may be unsafe. Towns should check the equipment and prepare another way to provide enough light.

They may reduce electricity use on quiet streets.。

Sensors may not work correctly in bad weather.。

解答:roads with few visitors。

Smart streetlights can reduce electricity use by brightening when people pass. However, sensors do not always work correctly in bad weather, so towns should inspect them and provide safe alternatives.

Smart streetlights are completely safe in every kind of weather.

More schools are considering water refill stations where students can fill their own bottles. If water is easy to find, students may buy fewer single-use plastic bottles.

Using refillable bottles may also help students save money. Some schools place the stations near sports facilities so that students can get water after exercise.

However, refill stations need regular cleaning and maintenance. Equipment can become dirty or stop working if no one inspects it. Schools should therefore decide who will check each station and how often.

解答:Students may buy fewer single-use plastic bottles.。

解答:Stations require cleaning and inspection.。

解答:placing a station near sports facilities。

Water refill stations may reduce plastic bottle waste and save money for users. However, the stations need regular cleaning and maintenance, so schools should assign staff to check them.

Refill stations remove all plastic waste and never need cleaning.

Some museums invite high school students to guide visitors through exhibitions on weekends. Student guides explain local history in simple language, making it easier for visitors to ask questions.

The students can also practice public speaking and learn to work with museum staff. They may prepare short explanations and help visitors find different rooms.

However, many volunteers have school tests or club activities, and their schedules can change suddenly. Museums need backup guides and clear training materials so tours can continue when a student is absent.

Visitors learn from students, who practice speaking.。

Student volunteers may be unavailable unexpectedly.。

Student guides can make museum visits more engaging and help young people practice speaking. However, volunteer schedules may change, so museums need backup guides and clear training materials.

Student guides always have free weekends and need no training.

正しい削減:具体例のdrill and ladderをtoolsへ、a classroom and a sports hallをschool facilitiesへ一般化する。誤った削減:may reduce costsをwill eliminate all costsへ変える、some volunteersをall volunteersへ広げる、問題点を消して利点だけにする。

A. いいえ。

Q. NEW TREASURE
