対象：英検準2級に合格し、準2級プラスの語彙・長文・Writingを強化したい中学生・高校生。掲載語は英検協会の指定語彙表ではなく、慶英会独自の練習用選定です。公式試験形式は日本英語検定協会の準2級プラス試験内容をご確認ください。
熟語を間違える3つの理由
- 動詞の意味だけを覚え、後ろの前置詞を確認しない。
- 同じ日本語でも目的語の種類によって違う構文を選ぶ必要があると知らない。
- 前置詞toの後ろに動詞の原形を置き、動名詞にし忘れる。
7日間の復習方法
各日4問の空所を埋め、答えを確認した後、完成英文を2回音読してください。翌日には前日の4問を選択肢なしで再現し、週末に最も間違えた7語句を短い英文に書き直します。単語の日本語訳よりも、何の名詞や動名詞が続くかを重視してください。

実践復習｜単語を変えても使えるか
28問を解き終えたら、前置詞が特に迷いやすい4組を自分の学習場面に置き換えてみましょう。例えば参加先がscience fairからvolunteer projectに変わってもparticipate inを使えるか、責任の対象がchecking equipmentからorganizing the eventに変わってもresponsible forを使えるかを確認します。正解の単語だけではなく、その前後の構造が説明できれば定着が進みます。
FAQ
熟語を全部暗記すれば長文も読めますか？
熟語は読解の土台ですが、長文の論旨や条件を理解する技能も必要です。短文で前置詞を確認した後は、長文語句空所補充と内容一致の教材で使い方を確認しましょう。
辞書に複数の前置詞が載っている場合はどうしますか？
目的語の種類や意味によって前置詞が変わる場合があります。この教材は示された英文で自然な組み合わせを選ぶ設計であり、他の文脈での言い換えまで否定するものではありません。
前置詞toの後ろは必ず動名詞ですか？
いいえ。不定詞のtoの後ろは動詞原形です。一方、look forward toのtoは前置詞なので名詞や動名詞が続きます。語句全体の構造で判断してください。
