FICTIONAL SCIENCE REPORT — A science club compared two garden beds over twelve days. Bed A was watered every morning, and Bed B was watered every other morning. Each bed held ten bean plants of the same variety. At the end of the trial, nine plants in Bed A and eight in Bed B had healthy leaves. However, the club did not measure the total amount of water used. The garden beds also received different amounts of sunlight during the afternoon. The teacher therefore said the results were observations, not proof that one watering schedule was better. She recommended a new four-week test with similar sunlight conditions.

FICTIONAL ENGLISH HOMEWORK PORTAL — On Monday, students were asked to submit a short English paragraph by 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The draft could be saved more than once, but saving a draft did not count as submitting homework. A student named Nao saved her paragraph at 6:30 p.m. and then submitted it at 6:45 p.m. Her screen displayed ‘Submission received — grading pending.’ The teacher would publish comments on Monday, not immediately after submission. Each student could make one final submission, and no further edits were permitted after that action. A yellow ‘Review later’ flag was only a reminder for unfinished work. Two students reported connection errors, but the portal did not automatically extend their deadline. The teacher asked those students to contact the school through the approved channel. The notice did not claim that a submission receipt guaranteed a high score.
