教室変更・持参物の案内を正しく読む方法

英語の案内は『誰が・いつ・どこで・何を持ち・何時までに』を分けて読みます。最初にwas going to be in Room 101があっても、now in Room 205と書かれていれば変更後の205教室が正しい答えです。bring a notebookとdo not need a computerは持参する物と不要な物を表します。on Friday（その曜日）とby Friday（その曜日までに）も区別してください。

教室・集合・行事の時刻は別物です。meet at 3:50＝集合3時50分、start at 4:00＝開始4時です。条件の否定語not、only、instead、still、don’t needは、選択肢を消去する際に重要です。

was planned forは『当初は〜の予定だった』、will nowは『今後は〜となる』と変更後を示すことがあります。文脈全体を読み、最新の日時を選びます。

bringとprovideはどう違いますか。

bringは生徒側が持参すること、provideは学校などが用意・提供することです。The school will provide glasses.なら生徒が自分の保護眼鏡を用意する必要はない場合があります。

on Wednesdayとby Wednesdayは何が違いますか。

on Wednesdayは水曜日に起こること、by Wednesdayは水曜日までに完了すべきことです。締切に時刻がある場合は両方確認してください。
