English as a Second Language(0876)とは別のカリキュラムです。
| English as a Second Language(0876) | 英語を追加言語として学ぶ人向け。

| Formal email/
I went to the park. I saw a key. I took the key. I went home. It was good.
改善後(独自例):As the park gates were about to close, I noticed a small silver key beside the bench. I wanted to ignore it, but I remembered losing my own keys last winter. I gave it to the park office. A few minutes later, a worried visitor hurried in and asked about the key. When she smiled with relief, I knew I had made the right choice.
Students need gardens. Gardens are good. I like plants. Every school should have one.
改善後(独自例):I think a small school garden could be useful. Students could observe how plants change during the year and discuss what they learn in science class. A garden would need time and care, so our school could begin with a few containers before planning a larger project.
Our library is nice. I like the chairs. It is big. Come.
改善後(独自例):The school library has areas for quiet reading and research. Before you visit, check the opening times and borrowing rules on the school’s noticeboard. If you cannot find a book, ask the librarian for help. Please return borrowed books on time so other students can use them.
| 根拠は具体的か | It is good.
| 英語が正確か | He go/yesterday I walk | 最後に主語と時制をチェック |

Narrative:Write a short story about a missing key. Include a goal, a problem, a change, and an ending.
On Friday evening, Sam found that his bicycle key was missing. He needed to collect a book from the library before it closed. At first, he searched his bag again and again, but he found nothing. Then he remembered stopping beside a bench to help a younger child. He ran back to the park. The key lay under a leaf near the bench. Sam picked it up, smiling with relief. He reached the library just before closing time. On his way home, he decided to keep his keys in a small pocket.
Descriptive:Describe a school playground just before a storm. Use selected sensory details.
The playground seemed unusually quiet. A grey cloud covered the afternoon sun, and the bright painted lines on the ground grew faint. The first drops of rain tapped against the metal fence. A football rolled slowly across the empty field before stopping beside a bench. From the doorway, I could smell the wet earth. A teacher called to the last two students near the gate. Moments later, the rain grew louder, and the school building became a warm island of light.
Informative:Write a short guide for new students on how to use a school library.
Our school library can help you find books and a quiet place to study. Before visiting, check the opening times on the school noticeboard, as they may change. You can search for books by title or subject, or ask the librarian for help. When you borrow a book, follow the school’s current borrowing rules and note the return date. If a book is not available, ask whether you can reserve it. Please keep your voice low so everyone can read comfortably. These small steps will make the library easier to use.
Persuasive:Write to your classmates proposing a short weekly reading period. Give reasons and acknowledge a concern.
I think our class should try a short reading period once a week. Reading different kinds of books could introduce us to ideas we might not find in our usual lessons. It would also give students time to choose a book that interests them. Some classmates may prefer sports or other activities, so the reading period should be short and allow different kinds of texts. We could try it for a few weeks and ask everyone for feedback. This would help us decide whether it is useful for our class.
Formal email:Write a polite email asking a teacher to clarify a writing assignment.
Subject: Question about the writing assignment / Dear Ms Brown, / I am writing to ask about the writing task due next Tuesday. I understand that we need to describe a place, but I am unsure whether we should write one paragraph or several. Could you please confirm the expected length and whether we need to include a plan? I have already chosen my topic and would like to make sure that I follow the instructions correctly. Thank you for your time and help. / Best regards, / A student
Non-fiction report:Write a report about a fictional class exhibition, separating facts and reflection.
Our class held a small exhibition about local wildlife last Thursday. Eighteen students took part. One group prepared posters about birds, while another presented information about insects. Visitors asked questions, and students explained how they had researched their topics. The exhibition began after lunch and ended before the final lesson. Most displays used drawings and short captions. After the event, we discussed what went well and what we could improve. In my view, the most useful part was answering visitors’ questions because we had to explain our ideas clearly.

Q.Cambridge Lower Secondary English(0861)はESLですか?
Q.Stage 7
Q.Stage 9
