| they / them | 複数の人物・物 | B・D |
| those / these | 前の複数名詞・資料 | B・D |
| this / that | 一文全体の出来事、提案、発言 | A・C・D |
| her / his | 誰の所有・誰への言及か | A・D |
She read it after dinner. では it が the book を指しますが、後に出てくる It explained …
This helped everyone …
3.Some … Others …
Some students made posters. Others brought water.
文の主語だけでなく agree with her / suggest this advice などを読むと、論理の流れが見えてきます。

Original English:Maya borrowed a book about animals from the library on Monday. She read it after dinner because her brother wanted to learn about sea turtles. On Tuesday, she brought the book to school and showed it to her friend, Emi. Emi liked the pictures, but she said that the book was too long for their reading club. Maya then found a shorter article online. It explained how sea turtles find the beach where they were born. The students decided to introduce this topic at their meeting on Friday. They made three questions for other club members. This helped everyone think about the article instead of simply memorizing its sentences.

The first game would take place in the gym, and the second would be held outside if the weather was good. Some students offered to prepare signs. Others agreed to bring water and towels. Those supplies were important because the event could last two hours. One teacher suggested a shorter schedule for younger students. The organizers accepted this advice. Original English:Our English group interviewed twenty students about reading habits. Twelve said they usually read on a screen, and eight preferred paper books. The group first thought that screen reading was always more popular. However, their teacher reminded them that twenty students were not enough to describe all teenagers. This was an important warning. The group also found that some students used both formats but had chosen only one answer in the survey. That meant the survey did not capture their full habits. To improve it, the group added a question about how often students switched between paper and screens. They then planned to collect answers from several classes. The teacher said this change would make the research more useful, but it still would not prove that one format was better.

Original English:During a local history project, Kento and his friend Yuna visited a small museum. A guide showed them two maps of the town. One was made fifty years ago; the other was drawn recently. Kento noticed that a river had changed its course. He asked why that had happened. The guide explained that people had built a new road and changed part of the riverbank. Yuna wrote down the explanation, but she was unsure whether it was the only reason. She suggested checking old photographs and interviewing older residents. Kento agreed with her. They could use those sources to compare the guide’s explanation with other evidence. The students later prepared a short English report. In it, they wrote that the maps showed a change but did not alone establish every cause. Their teacher praised this careful distinction.
問31.Where did Kento and Yuna go?

English
