There is no telling when the train will arrive.は『到着時刻は分からない』、There is no denying that the train is late.は『遅延は否定できない』、There is no point in waiting.は『待っても仕方がない』です。 どれもThere is noで始まりますが、後ろの語と意味が大きく違います。独自30問で予測不能・否定できない事実・無益な行為を区別します。

3つの構文を比較
There is no telling＋疑問詞節：どうなるか分からない。There is no denying that＋節：〜という事実は否定できない。There is no point in＋動名詞：〜しても意味がない。no tellingの後はwhat／when／whetherなど、no denyingの後はthat節、no point inの後は動名詞を用いるのが基本です。
否定の強さと事実の確認
no tellingは未来が不明だと述べます。no denyingは話し手が事実を確かなものとして扱っています。no point inは行動の効果がないという評価です。『〜ない』という日本語だけで3つを同じものと考えないでください。
