結論
英文ニュースや科学記事では、according toは出典の明示、reportedlyは報道・伝聞、apparentlyは見たところの推測、allegedlyは未確認の主張・疑惑を表します。『そう報じられた』だけで『事実と証明された』と訳さないための独自24問です。
対象：中高一貫校の中3、NEW TREASURE Stage3の読解・英作文・高校英語への橋渡し。文脈中の事実と情報源、集合の範囲を正確に読む独自教材です。Ｚ会の教科書・Workbookの本文や設問は転載していません。
使い分けの4原則
1. according to＋情報源：According to the school report, …（学校報告によれば）。自分が真実と保証するのではなく出典を明示する。
2. reportedly：報じられたところでは・伝えられるところでは。主張が正確かは出典・本文で確認する。
3. apparently：見たところ・得られた情報から判断すると。外見や間接情報に基づく推測。文脈によっては『どうやら』。
4. allegedly：申し立てによれば・疑惑として。特に不正や問題行為の未確認の告発を説明する際、事実認定していないことを示す。

The school journalism club received three messages about a town library. The first contained an official notice stating that the library would open at nine on Saturday. A student correctly wrote, ‘According to the official notice, it will open at nine.’ The second message said that a rare map had reportedly been found, but it gave no source. The third claimed that a volunteer had allegedly taken the map home without permission. The teacher warned the class not to present the third claim as an established fact. The students checked with the library office, which said that its inventory review was continuing. The group published the official opening time but postponed any report about the map. It explained that identifying a source and separating an allegation from verified information were essential parts of responsible English writing.
