準2級Eメールの出題形式｜2026年公式問題で確認
日本英語検定協会の準2級試験内容によれば、一次試験ではEメール返信と意見英作文を各1題解答します。2026年度第1回の公式準2級問題冊子（PDF）のEメール課題では、解答本文の目安40〜50語、相手のメール内容への回答、下線部の特徴を尋ねる具体的な質問2つが要求されています。問題冊子と本文には著作権があるため、このページは実物を再録せずすべて独自の架空題材で演習します。

注意：公式問題では返信用の挨拶や結びが印刷されている形式があるため、その部分まで自分が新たに書く必要はありません。語数の目安は解答欄に自分で書く本文についてです。「語数が39なら自動的に0点」といった独自ルールを学校や協会の正式基準として説明しません。
40〜50語を安定させる文章設計
相手が何を聞いているか、先に確定する
例として「Do you think more schools should have gardens?」なら、先にYes／Noの立場と理由を決めます。Yes, I think so, because students can learn about plants. のような短い英文で十分です。理由が思いつかない場合は、学校生活・安全・時間・費用・環境といった身近な観点から一つ選ぶと具体化できます。
下線部そのものに向けた2質問を作る
下線が a school garden なら、How large is the school garden? と What vegetables will the students grow there? という2方向の質問が作れます。What is your favorite subject? のように本文の下線部から離れた質問では要件が満たせません。質問は「場所・時間・人数・種類・大きさ・料金」などの観点から選びましょう。
質問を正しい語順で書き、余計な語を削る
How many people joined the workshop? では疑問詞を含む主語疑問文なので通常didを挿入しません。What time does it open? は一般動詞の三単現の疑問文です。難しい表現を並べるより、短く自然な疑問文を正確に作りましょう。40〜50語に収まらない場合は挨拶や意味の重複を先に削り、下線部への質問2つや相手への返答を削らないでください。

学校の英文確認・文法確認とどうつなげるか

A. 2026年の公式問題指示では40〜50語が目安です。自分で解答欄に記入する文章の語数を数えます。

A. 2つです。対象の大きさ・数・種類・時間など異なる特徴を具体的に尋ねます。
Q. 書く順番は決まっていますか。
A. 決まった文数や順番だけで得点できるわけではありません。質問2つと相手への返答を欠かさず、自然なメールにまとめることを優先してください。
