on the spotは対応の即時性に焦点がある
She made the decision on the spot. はその場で即決したという意味です。on site と同じ場所での出来事でも、後者は現地にいたことに重点を置きます。
on-site inspectionは修理完了を保証しない
装置20台を現地で点検し、そのうち4台に問題が見つかり、1台だけ即時修理した場合、4台すべてが使用可能になったとは言えません。点検・問題発見・修理・使用再開を別々に記録します。
on the sceneにいたから目撃者とは限らない
報道者が出来事の後に現場へ到着した場合、現場にいることは分かりますが、その出来事を直接目撃したとは限りません。到着時刻や発言内容を別の根拠から確認する必要があります。
in personとonlineは参加形式である
30人の参加者のうち18人が対面・12人がオンラインなら対面率は18÷30＝60％です。しかし対面参加者の全員が発表したかどうかは、出席記録だけでは分かりません。

Fictional School Equipment Inspection. A technical team inspected twenty classroom devices on site. Four required further checks; the other sixteen passed the initial inspection. One of the four devices was repaired on the spot because its problem could be identified and corrected immediately. The remaining three were put aside for additional testing the following week. The head teacher said that on-site inspection was not the same as completing all repairs immediately. The report recorded twenty inspections, four issues and one immediate repair. It did not claim that all four problem devices were ready for use.

Fictional Hybrid Presentation Event. Thirty students attended a school presentation. Eighteen participated in person in the school hall, while twelve joined online. The organiser reported that sixty percent of participants attended in person. A parent who arrived on the scene after the opening speech later claimed that everyone in the hall had delivered a presentation. The official attendance record did not identify which students spoke; it recorded only how they joined the event.
