Even though it rained, the match continued.では雨が降った事実があります。Even if it rains tomorrow, we will continue.では明日の雨はまだ確定しません。
Whether or not it rains, the indoor talk will take place.では雨の有無を問わず開催するという方針を述べます。
未来を指すif節は通常現在形を使い、主節にwillを用いることがあります。even if it will rainと機械的にしないこと。

独自演習C｜初見長文5問・全文和訳
Original Reading: The school art club planned an exhibition for Saturday. A storm damaged the outdoor signs on Friday, but the students continued preparing even though they were disappointed. Their adviser explained that the main exhibition would take place indoors, so it would open whether or not the rain continued on Saturday. Some members were worried about transportation. The adviser said that even if several volunteers arrived late, the school could open the first gallery with a smaller team. On Saturday morning, the rain stopped, but train service remained delayed. Even though a guest speaker could not arrive on time, student guides welcomed visitors and began the tour. The club later wrote a report distinguishing events that actually occurred from problems it had only prepared for. It also noted that using indoor rooms had made the plan less dependent on the weather.
全文和訳
学校の美術部は土曜の展示を準備した。金曜の嵐で屋外の案内板が傷んだが、生徒は残念に思いながら準備を続けた。顧問は主な展示が屋内なので土曜の雨が続くかどうかに関係なく開くと説明した。交通を心配する部員もいた。顧問は、仮に数人のボランティアが遅れても少人数で最初の部屋を開けられると説明した。土曜朝には雨がやんだが電車の遅延は続いた。招待講演者は時間通りに来られなかったが、生徒は来場者を迎えて見学を始めた。部は実際の出来事と備えていた可能性を分けて報告した。屋内の選択は天候への依存を減らしたとも書いた。
