例：「The teacher suggested that she revise the essay.」は『改稿するよう提案した』。対して「The evidence suggests that she is revising the essay.」は『証拠は彼女が改稿中であることを示唆する』。同じsuggest thatでも意味が異なればthat節の形も異なることが重要です。
慶英会独自40問｜文法の訂正・書き換え・that節の選択
前半は誤文訂正と書き換え、後半はmandative subjunctive（要求・提案の動詞原形）と証拠の示唆の違いです。モデル以外の自然な別解もあります。どの構文を選んだかの理由を説明してください。
1｜suggestの後ろはthat節か動名詞：suggest me toを直す（問1〜10）
「人に〜することを提案した」はsuggest someone to doではなく、suggest that someone (should) do、または文脈が分かるならsuggest doingを使います。
問1：Correct: Our teacher suggested me to rewrite the introduction.
問2：Correct: The group suggested to hold another meeting.
問3：Correct: Aya suggested us to review the results.
問4：Correct: Ken suggested to collect more responses.
問5：Correct: The librarian suggested the students to check the timetable.
問6：Correct: The class suggested to use a clearer chart title.
問7：Correct: My partner suggested me to explain the denominator.
問8：Rewrite ‘The team suggested revising the survey’ with a that-clause and ‘we’.
問9：Rewrite ‘Yuki suggested that I should verify the source’ without should.
問10：Correct: They suggested us using fewer slides.
2｜recommend・advise・advice：人＋toが可能かを判定（問11〜20）
advise someone to doは自然です。一方recommend doing／recommend that someone (should) doが基本。名詞adviceは通常不可算です。

問12：Correct: Our adviser recommended to check the units.
問13：Correct: My coach adviced me to practise my speech.
問14：Use advise + person + to: ‘The teacher recommended that Aya check her sources.’
問15：Correct: The tutor gave me an advice about the essay.

問17：Rewrite ‘I advise you to review the data’ using ‘recommend’ and a that-clause.

3｜提案・要求・必要性を表すthat節は動詞原形・should＋原形（問21〜30）
このセクションでは米国英語でよく使うmandative subjunctive（要求・提案を表す動詞原形）を作ります。英国英語ではshould＋原形も広く使えます。動作主が三人称単数でも原形、受動ならbe＋過去分詞です。
問21：Use the mandative base form: The teacher requested that every student (submit) the essay today.
問22：Use the mandative base form: The principal demanded that the notice (be) clear.
問23：Use the mandative passive: They requested that the slides (check) before the talk.
問24：Use the mandative base: The committee recommended that the school (retain) paper notices.
問25：Use the mandative base: It is essential that everyone (know) the safety rules.
問26：Use the mandative passive: The supervisor insisted that the forms (sign) before the activity.
問27：Use the mandative base: The club proposed that a trial (begin) next Friday.
問28：Use the mandative passive: It is important that students’ private information (protect).
問29：Change ‘should be’ to the mandative base: They suggested that the results should be reviewed.

4｜suggest thatは提案にも「証拠が示す」にもなる（問31〜40）
suggestには「〜すべきだと提案する」と「証拠が〜を示唆する」があります。後者で現在の事実を述べる場合は通常の叙述文の時制・主語と動詞の一致を使います。insistも「要求する」と「事実だと強く主張する」で違いがあります。
問31：Data meaning: The figures (suggest) that the room (be/is) crowded today.
問32：Proposal meaning: The teacher (suggest) that the class (begin) early tomorrow.
問33：Evidence meaning: The survey (suggests) that many students (prefer/prefers) printed maps.
問34：Proposal meaning: The council recommended that the room (be) available on Fridays.
問35：Factual assertion: The witness insisted that the gate (was/be) closed at five yesterday.
問36：Demand: The manager insisted that the gate (be) closed at five tomorrow.
問37：Evidence meaning: The recorded results suggest that the new plan (needs/need) more testing.
問38：Proposal meaning: The team suggested that Ken (check/checks) the denominator.

suggestedとadvisedの違いだけでなく、that節が行動の提案か、現在の事実についての示唆かを説明できることが定着の目安です。
1｜suggestの後ろはthat節か動名詞：suggest me toを直す（問1〜10）｜全解答
解1：Our teacher suggested that I rewrite the introduction.
和訳：先生は私が導入段落を書き直すことを提案した。
解説：suggestの直後にme to rewriteとは置かず、that＋I＋動詞原形を使う。
解2：The group suggested holding another meeting.
和訳：グループはもう一度会議を開くことを提案した。
解説：動作を一般的に提案する場合suggest＋-ing。
解3：Aya suggested that we review the results.
和訳：アヤは私たちが結果を見直すことを提案した。
解説：us toは不自然。that節に主語weを置く。
解4：Ken suggested collecting more responses.
和訳：ケンはさらに回答を集めることを提案した。
解説：suggest collectingが自然。
解5：The librarian suggested that the students check the timetable.
和訳：司書は生徒が時刻表を確認することを提案した。

解説：recommend＋人＋to不定詞ではなくthat節にするのが標準的な学習表現。
解12：Our adviser recommended checking the units.
和訳：指導者は単位を確認することを勧めた。
解説：recommend checkingの形に直す。
解13：My coach advised me to practise my speech.
和訳：指導者は私にスピーチを練習するよう助言した。
解説：動詞はadvise（s）、名詞はadvice（c）。advicedではなくadvised。

解説：advise Aya to checkは正しい形。

和訳：指導者は作文について助言をしてくれた。
解説：adviceは不可算。具体的に一件ならa piece of advice。

解説：recommended us toよりthat節が適切。

解説：every studentは単数でも、要求を表すthat節ではsubmitの原形。

4｜suggest thatは提案にも「証拠が示す」にもなる（問31〜40）｜全解答
解31：The figures suggest that the room is crowded today.
和訳：数値は今日その部屋が混雑していることを示唆する。
解説：証拠を説明するsuggest thatでは通常の叙述is。beに機械的にしない。
解32：The teacher suggested that the class begin early tomorrow.
和訳：先生はクラスが明日早く始めるよう提案した。
解説：提案を表すのでbegin原形が使える。
解33：The survey suggests that many students prefer printed maps.
和訳：調査は多くの生徒が紙地図を好むことを示唆する。
解説：preferの主語はmany studentsで複数。提案の原形ルールを理由にしない。
解34：The council recommended that the room be available on Fridays.
和訳：委員会はその部屋が金曜に利用できるよう勧めた。
解説：recommend that＋原形be。現に利用できるとの事実ではない。
解35：The witness insisted that the gate was closed at five yesterday.
和訳：目撃者は昨日5時に門が閉じていたと強く主張した。
解説：過去の状態についての主張であり『閉めよ』という要求ではない。wasが自然。

和訳：責任者は明日5時に門を閉めるよう要求した。
解説：未来の実施を要求するmandative be。

和訳：記録された結果は新しい計画には追加検証が必要だと示唆する。
解説：needsは主語planが単数で現在の評価だから。
解38：The team suggested that Ken check the denominator.
和訳：チームはケンが分母を確認するよう提案した。
解説：提案用法では三単現sを付けずcheck。
解39：Ren insisted that his data were accurate at the time.
和訳：レンは当時自分のデータは正確だったと主張した。
解説：事実についての主張であり要求ではない。dataを複数としてwere。
解40：The data suggest that the recorded response rate is low. The teacher suggested that the class collect more responses.
和訳：データは記録上の回答率が低いことを示唆する。先生はクラスがさらに回答を集めるよう提案した。
解説：1文目は証拠の示唆でis、2文目は行動の提案でcollect原形。
学校の英作文で直すべき5つのポイント
- suggest me to doを避け、suggest that I doなどのthat節を作る。
- recommend doingとadvise someone to doを区別する。
- 要求を表すthat節では、三単現の人が主語でも動詞原形を使うモデルを知る。
- 受動のthat節ではshould be checked／be checkedの形にする。
- 「データが示唆する」なら通常の時制・主語との一致を用い、要求の形を機械的に当てはめない。
