1. 現行準2級一次試験はリーディング・ライティング80分、リスニング約20分。WritingにEメール返信1題、意見英作文1題があります。
2. Eメール返信は40〜50語を目安に、相手のメール末尾の質問への回答と、メール本文中の下線部の特徴・詳細について具体的な質問二つを記述します。

4. 意見英作文は50〜60語程度で賛否・選好などの立場を示し、異なる理由二つを挙げます。Eメールの下線部への質問とは別形式です。
5. 英検協会が2024年度第1回から準2級にEメール問題を追加し、2026年度も現行形式となっています。試験本番では受験する年度・方式の問題冊子の指示を必ず優先します。

相手の最後の質問へ答えていない

相手が求める賛否・好み・予定などを理解し、最初に一文で直接回答します。余計な一般論を増やして答えを曖昧にしないことが重要です。

下線部について質問していない

質問は下線部の活動・物・施設などを対象にして具体的に二つ作ります。本文で分かっている内容を再質問したり、Can you tell me more?だけで終わることを避けます。

質問の内容が二つとも同じ

開催人数と所要時間、場所と費用など異なる項目を尋ねます。質問の数だけでなく情報の独立性も確認します。
