結論｜wearは身に着けている状態、put onは身に着ける動作
中高一貫校の英語でwearとput onを混同している場合は、服を身に着けている状態を述べるか、着る動作を述べるかを区別します。She is wearing a blue jacket.は青い上着を着ている状態、She put on a blue jacket.は青い上着を身に着けた行動です。get dressedは服を着て身支度を整える意味で、特定の服を直接目的語として続ける一般的な形ではありません。語順と動詞の活用を一緒に覚えることが大切です。

中高一貫校では授業進度や指定教材が異なります。NEW TREASURE（ニュートレジャー）などの採用を学校名だけで断定せず、教科書・範囲表・提出ワークで実際に扱う例文を優先してください。
wearの基本
I wear glasses.は普段眼鏡をかけている、He wears a school uniform.は制服を着ているという意味です。wearは服だけでなく帽子、靴、眼鏡など身に着けているものにも使えます。三単現はwearsです。
be wearingの使い方
What is she wearing today?は彼女が今日何を着ているかを尋ねます。She is wearing a white shirt.と答えます。現在進行形でも服を着る瞬間を表すとは限らず、身に着けている一時的な状態を表せます。
put onは着る動作
Put on your coat before you go outside.は外出前にコートを着るよう促す文です。put onは身に着ける変化を表し、put–put–putと変化します。He put on his coat yesterday.でも過去形はputです。
put onの語順
Put on your shoes.とPut your shoes on.の両方が自然です。代名詞itやthemを使う場合はPut it on.、Put them on.と動詞とonの間に置き、Put on it.とはしません。定期テストの並べ替えで重要です。
get dressedは身支度を整える
I get dressed at seven every morning.は毎朝七時に服を着る、という意味です。I got dressed quickly.は急いで着替えたことです。get dressedは通常、服の種類より身支度という行為全体に注目します。
dressは人を着替えさせる場合にも使う
The father dressed his child.は父親が子どもに服を着せたことです。She dressed quickly.のように自分が服を着る意味でも使えます。dressは名詞ではワンピースなどの「ドレス」を指すため、品詞も確認しましょう。
be dressed in＋衣服・色
She was dressed in black.は黒い服を着ていた、The children were dressed in warm clothes.は暖かい服装だったという意味です。wear blackとも表現できますが、be dressed inは服装全体を描写することがあります。
take offは脱ぐ
Please take off your shoes.とPlease take your shoes off.は靴を脱いでくださいという意味です。代名詞ならTake them off.とします。put onとtake offを反対の動作として整理しましょう。
wear・put on・take offの時系列
He put on his jacket at eight, wore it all morning, and took it off at noon.は八時に上着を着て、午前中着用し、正午に脱いだという意味です。着る瞬間・着用中・脱ぐ瞬間の三つを区別すると理解しやすくなります。
wearの過去形・過去分詞
wear–wore–wornを覚えましょう。I wore a red sweater yesterday.は昨日赤いセーターを着ていたことです。I have worn this coat many times.は現在完了の例です。未習の場合はworeまでを優先してください。
put・get・takeの活用
put–put–put、get–got–got（米語ではgottenも）、take–took–takenです。put on、get dressed、take offを過去形にするとput on、got dressed、took offとなります。
よくある誤り① 状態と動作
She is putting on a jacket.は上着を着る動作の途中、She is wearing a jacket.は着用している状態です。写真を見て「すでに着ている」と言う場合はwearingが適切なことが多くあります。
よくある誤り② 目的語の位置
Put on it.は着る対象を代名詞で示す通常の語順として誤りで、Put it on.が正しい形です。一方Wear it.ではonは必要ありません。
よくある誤り③ dressの使い方
He dressed a coat.はコートを着たという基本表現として不自然です。He put on a coat.やHe wore a coat.を場面に応じて使います。dress someone in somethingのような構文は別にあります。
