英検英作文では、*It is important for students to study.*（生徒が学ぶことは重要だ）と *It is kind of you to help.*（手伝うとは親切だ）を区別します。for は行動する人とその行為の重要性・難しさ、of は行動から読み取れる人柄や判断への評価を表す場面で使います。意味に合った形容詞を選びましょう。
対象：英検の意見英作文を学ぶ中学生・高校生。級固有の模試でなく、英語記述の語法・意味を正確にする独自教材です。
原文と著作権：学校・図書館・人物などは学習用の架空設定であり、英検公式問題や教科書からは転載していません。
4つのルール
- It is important / necessary / difficult / useful for A to do で、Aが行うことの難度・必要性・価値を説明する。
- It is kind / thoughtful / careless / wise of A to do で、Aの行動から人柄や判断を評価する。
- 形容詞によって選ぶ前置詞が異なる。for と of を機械的に入れ替えない。
- 評価・提案と実際の成果は別。『重要だ』という意見だけで成績上昇を断定しない。
