英文要約で opt in（自分から参加・登録を選ぶ）、opt out（参加を辞退・解除する）、automatic enrollment（最初から登録される設定）を同じ『申し込んだ』にまとめてはいけません。自動登録された人が実際にサービスを使ったとは限らず、自発的登録者も必ず出席したとは限りません。
対象：英検準2級プラス〜1級の英文要約を学ぶ中高一貫校の中学生・高校生。特定級の公式模擬問題ではなく、条件と数値を正確に残す独自教材です。
教材の性質：英文・学校・町・制度・人数・費用はすべて学習用の架空設定であり、英検過去問・実在の調査を転載したものではありません。
意味を保つための4つの原則
- opt in は自ら参加を選ぶ行動。全員が登録されたわけではない。
- opt out は参加しない選択・登録解除。出席しなかったことだけでは opt out と断定できない。
- automatically enrolled は初期設定として登録された状態。利用・賛成・同意の証拠ではない。
- invited・enrolled・attended は別の人数。制度の説明では選択手続きと実績を残す。
