英文要約で報告書に更新があったとき、corrected（誤りを訂正）、revised（改訂）、withdrawn / retracted（撤回）を同じ「新しくなった」とまとめてはいけません。誤記だけ直したのか、見積もりを変更したのか、元の報告そのものを撤回したのかによって、読者が使える情報は変わります。
対象：英検準2級プラス〜1級の英文要約や中高一貫校英語の記述力を高めたい学習者。公式模擬問題ではなく、英文の意味を保った修正を学ぶ独自教材です。
出典と権利：学校・人・調査・日時・数値はすべて架空です。英検公式過去問や出版社の文章は転載していません。
要点｜4つの判断原則
- corrected は特定の誤りの訂正。報告全体が撤回されたとは限らない。
- revised は内容や計画の修正・改訂。修正の範囲を確認する。
- withdrawn / retracted は取り下げ・撤回。元の主張を有効なまま引用しない。
- superseded は後の版が置き換えたこと。旧版と最新版の扱いを明示する。

誤答：
The report was withdrawn because one spelling error was corrected.
改善：
The report remained available after a spelling error was corrected.
和訳：綴りの誤りが訂正された後も報告書は公開されたままだった。 理由：誤記の訂正と文書全体の撤回は別です。
