英検準2級プラスの長文問題は、正解を選ぶだけで終わらせず、本文から4択を自作する「逆作問」で復習すると、根拠とひっかけの違いを説明しやすくなります。公式の長文内容一致は4肢選択8問。本記事は同じ技能を深める独自4長文24課題であり、公式過去問ではありません。

対象：準2級合格後、準2級プラスのReadingで「なぜこの選択肢が正解なのか」を説明できない中高生。最初の3問は4択内容一致。続く3問で誤った選択肢を訂正し、自分で疑問文を作り、根拠を確認します。語句の暗記よりも、本文と選択肢の意味を照合する訓練です。

逆作問のやり方｜本文を根拠に設問と正解を作る

例文：The science club will review the results next month.（科学クラブは来月結果を検討する予定だ。）正しい質問は When will the science club review the results?（いつ結果を検討しますか。）で、答えは Next month. です。「すでに結果を発表した」という誤答を作った場合は、will review（未来の予定）とannounced（実施済み）の違いを説明できるようにします。

時点の変更plannedをcompletedにする予定と実施を区別

独自4長文・24課題

解答を開く前に、英文を一度読み、4択と作問に挑戦してください。練習19〜24などの番号に特別な試験上の意味はありません。

長文1｜読書会の応募と参加確定

The town library invited teenagers to join a Saturday reading club. Students had to apply online by May 10. Fifteen students applied, but the library had space for only ten participants. The staff sent confirmation emails on May 14 to the selected students. Anyone who did not receive a confirmation could join a waiting list. The club itself began on May 21. During the first meeting, participants discussed a short story and suggested topics for future sessions. The library has not yet decided whether it will offer a second club in the summer.

長文2｜給水機と実際の利用データ

A school installed a water refill station near the gym to reduce disposable plastic bottles. During a six-week trial, the school recorded the number of refills each day. The daily average increased from 40 in the first week to 65 in the sixth week. However, the school did not count how many different students used the station, and it did not measure the number of plastic bottles thrown away. Some students requested another machine near the library. The principal said the school would review maintenance costs before deciding whether to install one.

The lectures were free, but seats had to be reserved because the room was small. The museum recorded each talk, and the videos became available online the following Friday. People watching online could not ask the historian questions during the live events. After the series, visitors suggested including more topics about transport. The museum will consider these requests when planning next year’s programs.

解答後の復習｜正解理由を30秒で説明できるか

  1. 自分が選んだ答えの根拠に下線を引く。
  2. 残る3択が間違っている理由を、それぞれ「数字・日付・人物・条件・未決定」から分類する。
  3. 一度解いた後は4択を隠し、本文から別の正しい質問を作る。
  4. 翌日、読まずに同じテーマを説明し、本文を見て未確定の情報を断定していないか確認する。

FAQ

Q. 逆作問は本番に出ますか？

逆作問そのものは英検準2級プラスの公式出題形式ではありません。4肢選択の根拠を理解するための補助トレーニングです。

Q. 誤った選択肢は全て「明らかに違う」ものですか？

いいえ。数字だけ正しくても「延べ訪問回数」を「異なる生徒数」に置き換えると意味は変わります。細部を読む習慣が必要です。

Q. 語彙が分からなくても取り組めますか？

初見で解いた後に、本文の主題と選択肢の違いを説明するのに必要な語句だけを調べます。未知語を全て丸暗記する前に重要度を分けると効率的です。
