A coastal town began placing signs near beaches to help visitors understand how to protect sea animals. The signs explained why people should keep a distance from nesting areas and avoid leaving rubbish. The town also trained volunteers to answer questions from tourists.
After introducing the signs, the town surveyed visitors during two weekends. On the first weekend, 120 visitors answered the survey, and 72 knew the rule about nesting areas. On the second weekend, 150 visitors answered, and 105 knew the rule. Volunteers were pleased, but they noted that the two groups of visitors were not identical.
The percentages were 60 percent in the first survey and 70 percent in the second. However, the weather had also been better on the second weekend, bringing more families to the beach. The organizers therefore avoided claiming that the signs alone had caused the increase in awareness.

Some public libraries have introduced workshops that teach residents how to recognize misleading online advertisements. Participants learn to check who created an advertisement, compare claims with reliable sources, and avoid sharing personal information unnecessarily. Supporters say the lessons may help people make more careful purchasing decisions. However, preparing updated examples takes time because online advertising changes quickly. Some visitors also have limited experience with digital devices. To address these problems, libraries may offer short sessions with printed examples and provide individual assistance from trained volunteers.

However, updating examples and supporting inexperienced users are difficult, so libraries offer printed materials, short sessions, and volunteer assistance.

慶英会モデル答案(60語):I think schools should offer more chances to learn from older community members. First, older people can share practical knowledge about local history and traditional skills that textbooks may not explain. Second, talking with them can help students develop communication skills and understand different viewpoints. Schools should organize safe meetings and prepare questions, but these exchanges could benefit both generations.
