英検準2級長文｜free trial・auto-renewal・pause・cancelの違い

結論：free trial（無料体験）、auto-renewal（自動更新）、pause（一時停止）、cancel（解約）、refund（返金）は、それぞれ意味も手続きも異なります。無料で利用開始したからといって自動更新がないとは限らず、アプリを削除しても契約解除にならない設定があります。本文の契約条件と更新日を確認して答えます。

The fictional Sound Study Service costs 800 yen per month. Members may pause access for one future month by sending a request at least three days before the next renewal date. A pause temporarily stops access and charges for the selected month, but the membership resumes automatically after the pause period ends. Cancellation is different: it ends future renewals until the user signs up again. For example, a member whose next renewal is on September 10 may request a pause for October by following the account instructions before the applicable deadline. The service says that deleting the phone app does not pause or cancel the account. After a cancellation request is accepted, the user receives a confirmation email.
