英検準2級の長文Eメールで大切なのは、単語を一つ残らず訳すことより、「誰が・いつまでに・何をするか」を正確に更新することです。同じメールに「申し込みは火曜」「リンク送付は木曜」「イベントは金曜」と3つの日付があっても、問いに対応する締切を選べなければ誤答になります。慶英会では、学校行事・図書館・ボランティア・オンライン交流などの独自Eメール6通を作り、4択24問＋根拠訂正12問＝36問を用意しました。すべて解答根拠を本文の表現で確認できる無料教材です。

2026年度の英検準2級Readingは短文空所補充15問、会話文空所補充5問、長文語句空所補充2問、長文内容一致7問です。長文内容一致ではEメールや説明文が使われます。この教材は読解技能を細分化するために1通につき6問付けていますが、本番の長文1通に必ず6問出る意味ではありません。実際の配点・大問と過去問は日本英語検定協会の公式ページを確認してください。

最初に見るべき5項目｜From／To／期限／条件／変更

• From / To：誰から誰へ送った情報か。先生から生徒、施設から参加者を区別します。
• by と on：by Fridayは金曜日までの期限。on Fridayは金曜日の実施日。
• only / must / at least：対象の限定、義務、最低数。問題の正答根拠になりやすい語。
• originally / instead / now：旧予定から新予定に変更されている印。
• but / however / if：例外・条件を見落とさない。

誤答しない読み方｜本文に3つの印を付ける

印①：日時（開催・受付・集合・提出・支払い）をそれぞれ別の色・メモで区別します。印②：主語（students / teachers / families / organizers）を一緒に書きます。印③：条件（only students who… / if… / unless…）を囲みます。4択の選択肢は、本文にある単語が含まれていても質問と対応しない場合があります。本文に書かれた旧情報を使う引っかけに注意してください。

各設問のQ1〜Q4は4択、Q5は誤った英語の説明文を本文に合うように訂正、Q6は短く英文で答える課題です。問題を先に解き、解答は詳細ボックスで開く使い方をおすすめします。20分程度で一気に解くより、理由まで説明できるかを重視してください。

本文と選択肢が似ていても不正解になる理由

• 期限のすり替え：permission formとpaymentの締切が異なるのに、同じ日付と考える。
• 人のすり替え：teachers printとstudents submitの動作主語を混同する。
• 旧予定の残存：originally … but … のoriginally側を正解にする。
• onlyを読み落とす：Anyone may visitとonly donors can takeの対象を混同する。
• 例外の誤解：雨なら中止と思い込むが、メールには屋内授業への変更と書かれている。
• 一部だけ正しい選択肢：本文にある言葉でも、Qの疑問詞と対応しなければ不正解。

よくある質問

Q. 本文のすべての語を和訳する必要はありますか？

必要ありません。まず質問に答えるための根拠表現を探し、選択肢の誤りを検証することが優先です。ただし、語彙不足で根拠が追えない場合は該当文だけ精読し、翌日もう一度本文だけで答えてみましょう。

Q. 本文中に見つかった数字を選べば正解ですか？

数字が本文にあっても、イベント日・集合時刻・申込期限・払込期限など種類が異なります。質問文の「when does…」「by when should…」に対応する数字を選びます。

Q. 英検準2級はReadingのEメールだけを勉強すればいいですか？

いいえ。短文空所・会話文空所・長文語句空所・長文内容一致に加え、Writing2題・リスニング・二次面接があります。特定の弱点を補った後、公式過去問で全体の時間配分を確認してください。
