結論｜英作文の失点は文法だけでなく、QUESTIONの対象を変えることでも起こる
英検準2級の意見英作文では、英語の文法が正しくても『学校がすること』を問われているのに『家庭がすること』を答えたり、『増やすか』を問われているのに『全面禁止』を論じたりすると、QUESTIONへの適合性が下がります。答案を書く前に主語（誰が）・行動（何を）・範囲（どこで、いつ）・比較表現（more、less、only、every）の4つを確認しましょう。
英検協会の準2級ライティングの採点観点は、意見と理由2つが課題に合っているかを「内容」の観点として評価します。準2級のWritingは意見英作文1題とEメール1題で、意見英作文は50〜60語が目安です。本ページの独自6題の50〜60語模範答案とQUESTIONの対象を修正する24題は慶英会独自教材です。公式過去問・公式採点例の転載ではありません。
QUESTIONを正確に読む4つのチェック
- Who（主語）：schools / students / parents / teenagers のどれが行動する主体なのか。
- What（行動）：learn / use / allow / reduce / give more time などの動詞句が要求する判断を明示する。
- Where・When（範囲）：at school / during classes / on weekends / in their town を落とさない。
- How much（程度）：more / less / only / every / some の一語が結論の範囲を大きく変える。
具体例｜moreとonlyは同じではない
Do you think cafeterias should offer more vegetarian meals? は、ベジタリアン料理を増やすことの是非です。『すべての給食をベジタリアンにする』は対象を広げすぎています。同様に、students should exercise more often は『運動を増やす』話で、students must exercise every dayとは違います。正しい英語を書く前に、問われている主張を日本語で一文にすることが必要です。
独自6題｜まずQUESTIONの主語・範囲を特定しよう
各QUESTIONを読み、①誰が何をするか、②more/lessなど程度の指定、③どこで行う話かを整理してから、意見と理由2つを50〜60語で書いてください。先に模範答案を読むのではなく、自分で主張がぶれないか確認します。

80分のReading・Writingで失点を防ぐ作業順
- ① QUESTIONの主語と中心動詞に線を引く（準備段階ではメモして確認）。
- ② more/less/only/alwaysなどの限定語を日本語で確かめる。
- ③ 立場を一つ決め、その範囲に沿う理由を二つ作る。
- ④ 50〜60語程度で書いた後、主語・範囲がQUESTIONから変わっていないか確認する。
- ⑤ 別問題のEメールも忘れずに解き、80分の全体時間を使い切らない。
7日間の復習モデル
- 1日目：第1〜2題で主語schoolsと対象students/teenagersを区別。
- 2日目：第3題でlocal historyとat schoolを維持する練習。
- 3日目：第4〜5題でmoreとonly、lessとneverの違いを整理。
- 4日目：第6題でscience classesとgroup projectsに焦点を合わせる。
- 5日目：確認1〜12のズレを直し、設問語句と同じ対象の英文に書き換える。
- 6日目：確認13〜24を解いて、程度や場所の限定を見落とさない。
- 7日目：未使用の公式QUESTIONを解き、根拠の異なる理由2つと設問適合性を自己点検する。
よくある質問
Q．QUESTIONの主語を変えると必ず0点ですか？
一律に断定できません。ただし課題と無関係な内容になれば、英検協会の採点上、内容面に問題が生じます。設問に正確に答えましょう。
Q．moreとonlyを取り違えるのは重大ですか？
『増やすこと』と『それだけにすること』は違う主張です。答案の範囲がずれるため、必ず確認しましょう。
Q．賛成でも反対でもよいですか？
質問に対応し、意見を一つに絞って理由2つで支えられればどちらの立場でも練習できます。
Q．理由に具体例を入れてもよいですか？
意見を支える理由の意味が伝わりやすくなる具体例なら有用です。ただし話題を別の対象へ変えないことが重要です。
Q．語数はいくつですか？
準2級意見英作文は50〜60語が目安です。Eメール返信の40〜50語と混同しないでください。
