英検の長文内容一致では、themselves と each other を取り違えると人物関係が変わります。例えば、グループの学生が each other を支援している場合、「各自が自分だけで勉強した」と断定してはいけません。誰が誰に何をしたのかを本文で確認します。

Q. themselvesとeach otherの違いは？
themselvesは自分自身、each otherは互いを示します。動作の対象が異なります。
Q. each otherは2人、one anotherは3人以上ですか？
その区別が説明されることもありますが、現代英語では厳密ではなく、どちらも互いにという意味で使われます。
