some=一部、most=大半、all=全員、none=誰もいない・一つもないです。特に not all は『全員ではない』であり、『誰も〜ない』と同じではありません。英検準2級の説明文リスニングでは、数字が聞こえたあとに誰のことを述べているか、回答者なのか参加者なのかも確かめます。
|---|---|---|
| all | 全員・すべて | All sixteen attended. |
| most | 大半・過半数 | Most of the respondents chose the bus. |
| some | 一部・何人か | Some students felt more confident. |
| none / no one | 一人もいない | No one came by car. |
| not all | 全員というわけではない | Not all students passed first. |
| almost all | ほぼ全員 | Almost all members had access. |

The other two reviewed the instructions and passed on a second attempt. This means every participant eventually passed, but not every participant passed the first time. Thus, almost all members had access to a racket without borrowing from the club, but not everyone owned one. The club has three spare rackets.
In an English club, ten students practiced short speeches. After three weeks, seven students said they felt more confident. Two said they felt about the same, and one said they were still nervous. The teacher said that most students reported greater confidence, but it would be wrong to say every student improved. The club did not give a speaking test before and after the practice, so the answers showed how students felt rather than proving a change in speaking ability. The teacher wants to compare actual performances next term.
- How many students reported greater confidence?
- Ten.
- Seven.
- Two.
- One.
- Which statement accurately summarizes the survey?
- Everyone became fluent.
- No one felt any change.

It also means not everyone who attended collected litter in the park itself. The organizers reported the number of participants, but did not claim they had measured the amount of waste removed. They hope more people will attend next time.
- How many people actually attended?
- Twenty.
- Twelve.
- Fifteen.
- Three.

- The amount of waste removed.

A museum placed a short questionnaire near its new art exhibition. Of the forty visitors who answered, twenty-six preferred the photographs, ten preferred the models, and four chose neither. The museum director said more than half of the respondents preferred photographs. However, the museum did not count the preferences of visitors who chose not to answer. The results therefore could not show what every museum visitor thought. The director plans to ask a wider range of visitors next month before changing the exhibition.
- How many respondents preferred photographs?
- Forty.
- Ten.
- Four.
- Twenty-six.
- How many selected neither option?

The community center asked twenty-four members if they had used its tool-lending service. Sixteen said they had used it at least once, five said they had never used it but wanted to try, and three said they were not interested. The center explained that most members in the survey had tried the service, but it did not say every member liked it. A person using a service once does not necessarily mean that the person was satisfied. The center will ask service users about their experiences separately and may adjust the lending hours afterward.
- How many members had used the service at least once?
- Sixteen.
- Twenty-four.
- Five.
- Three.
- How many had not tried it but wanted to?

- C.Fifteen. only fifteen actually attended。
- D.All fifteen attendees. All fifteen who attended were given gloves。
- B.Sort recyclable materials near the entrance. other three sorted recyclable materials。

- D.Twenty-six. 26 out of 40。
- A.Four. four chose neither。
- C.More than half of the respondents preferred photographs. 26/40

- A.Sixteen. Sixteen said used at least once。
- B.Five. five said never … but wanted to try。
- D.Every user was satisfied.
