英検準2級リスニング第1部｜Why don’t we・Don’t you・No thanksの返答を選ぶ独自20問【3択・全訳】

英検準2級Listening第1部の会話応答では、否定疑問のYes/Noを日本語の感覚だけで逆に解釈したり、No, thanksを失礼な断りだと誤解したりすると、会話に合う返答を選べません。Why don’t we…?は提案、Don’t you…?は否定疑問、Not reallyは控えめな否定です。独自20問で場面に応じた返答を練習します。

対象：英検準2級の中2・中3・高1。各課題は3択の独自会話問題で、公式問題や音声の転載ではありません。音声ファイルは付属しません。

現行のListening第1部と練習方法

英検協会によると、準2級Listening第1部は会話の最後の発話に対する応答を3択で選ぶ10問（放送1回）です。公式試験内容。本記事は同じ会話技能を増補した独自20問で、台本と選択肢を文字で示します。

意味を取り違えない4原則

1. Why don’t we …?＝『一緒に〜しない？』という提案。返答は賛否・代案が自然。
2. Don’t you …?＝否定疑問。Yesなら肯定事実、Noなら否定事実に合わせて答える。
3. No, thanks＝丁寧に断る。Not really＝『あまりそうではない』、Not quite＝『完全にはそうでない』。
4. Would you mind …? のNot at allは『気にしません』で許可や承諾を示すことが多い。

1回聞き取りに近づける復習

最初は英文を読み問題を解きます。次は家族などにAの発言を1回読んでもらい、3択を見て応答を判断します。翌日、正答の英文を音読し、Yes/Noが示す事実を日本語で説明。3日後は別の時間や活動に置き換えて自然な返答を作ります。文字だけで解いた結果を正式なリスニング得点と見なさないでください。

FAQ

否定疑問にはいつもNoと答えますか？

いいえ。Don’t you have…?に対して、持っているならYes, I do.、持っていないならNo, I don’t.です。

Why don’t we…?は『なぜしない』ですか？

文字通り理由を聞く場合もありますが、日常会話では『〜しない？』という提案でよく使われます。前後の文脈を確認してください。
