英検準2級のboth・either・neither40題｜either or・neither nor・not only but alsoの違い

4構文の意味を先に整理する

人数を表すときの注意：Both A and B are … は複数主語です。一方、Either A or B や Neither A nor B でAとBの数が異なる場合、動詞に近い主語に一致させる書き方が広く用いられます。as well as はandと同じ複数主語を作るものとは限らず、主語の中心語を確かめます。
