1|Should public libraries provide free digital-skills courses?
POINTS:Accessibility / Education
I believe public libraries should provide free basic digital-skills courses. First, access to online services is increasingly necessary for job applications and local government procedures. A resident who has no computer at home could learn to complete forms at a library without paying for private lessons. Second, public courses can support equal opportunities because some adults cannot afford technology training. Libraries should also keep printed guidance and personal assistance available to people who cannot attend regular classes. Admittedly, instructors and devices create costs. However, local authorities could begin with small workshops, evaluate whether participants can complete practical tasks, and adjust schedules to meet demand. Simply counting registrations would not prove that the program had improved digital skills. For these reasons, I support practical and carefully evaluated courses.

2|Should towns keep essential bus routes even if passenger numbers are low?
POINTS:Accessibility / Local Economy
I think towns should maintain essential bus connections even when some routes carry relatively few passengers. First, public transport supports access to clinics, schools, and shops for residents who cannot drive. A route may serve a small number of passengers while remaining necessary for daily life. Second, reliable buses can help local businesses because customers and workers have more ways to reach them. However, operating large vehicles on every route may be costly. Instead of canceling services immediately, municipalities could test smaller buses or flexible schedules while preserving dependable travel for important appointments. They should examine waiting times, return journeys, and residents who currently avoid trips because transport is difficult. In this way, towns can balance financial responsibility with the practical needs of their communities.
