例：Tom lent Aya his camera.は『トムがアヤにカメラを貸した』、Aya took the pictures.は『アヤが写真を撮影した』です。カメラの近くにトムの名前があるからといって、撮影者をトムと答えてはいけません。

本文中のplanned to・was going toは元の予定、insteadや変更後の実行描写は実際の行動を表す手掛かりです。各人物の名前に線を引いて、誰が何をしたかを短く整理しましょう。

Q. 本文の登場人物全員の名前を覚える必要がありますか？
暗記する必要はありません。設問で尋ねられた人物の担当に関連する英文を探し、本文の根拠に戻りましょう。

Q. 予定していた人と実行した人が違う場合は？
was going to・planned toを見つけ、後の代わりの行動をinsteadや別の動詞で確認します。問題が『実際にした人』を聞いている場合、最初に予定していた人は正解ではありません。

Q. 撮影した人と写真を送った人は同じですか？
同じ場合も違う場合もあります。文章中のtake picturesとsend picturesの主語をそれぞれ確認してください。
