英検4級across・through・along・pastの違い｜道案内・文字地図28問【全解答】

acrossは橋・道を渡る、throughは内部を通り抜ける、alongは道に沿って進む、pastは建物の前を通り過ぎる。英検4級の道案内では、単語を1つ間違えるだけで目的地が変わります。慶英会の架空の文字地図を使い、出発地点→曲がる場所→通過する目印→目的地を順に追いましょう。

英検4級の公式形式と道案内

英検協会の4級試験内容には道案内や公共施設が題材として含まれます。リーディング35分、リスニング約30分で、掲示・案内なども扱われます。この教材は追加練習であり、特定の語句が本試験で必ず出題されるとは限りません。

across・through・along・pastの意味と違い

acrossとacross fromは別の形：Cross the streetは横断する動作、The bank is across from the schoolは道の反対側にある位置です。go pastは建物に入ることではありません。

順番を記録する：Start at the school. Turn right at the second light.という道順なら、最初の信号は直進して2番目で右折します。first・second・after・beforeを読み飛ばさないことが大切です。
