英検協会の2級試験内容では、長文の内容一致選択は合計8問で、題材にEメールと説明文が含まれます。本教材の16問は反復練習のための追加問題であり、「本番でEメールだけ16問出る」という意味ではありません。一次試験のリーディング・ライティング全体は85分です。

16問すべて解かなければ実力は伸びませんか？

必ずしもそうではありません。短期間なら、予定変更の読解が苦手な人はEメール1・4、対象・締切の読み違いが多い人はEメール2・3を優先します。解答数よりも、根拠と誤答理由を言葉にできるかが重要です。

英検2級ではEメールのみ出題されますか？

いいえ。日本英語検定協会の形式にはEメールと説明文が含まれます。Eメール・説明文を組み合わせた独自長文8問も並行して練習してください。

日本語訳を全部書くべきですか？

最初から全文を訳すより、設問に必要な箇所を特定して正答の根拠を説明する練習を優先します。ただし、主語・時制・否定が分からず根拠を取り違える場合には、該当文を正確に訳し、構文を確認してください。
